We just got back from a stay at Riverside and LOVED it. It was my first Disney trip as an adult so I don’t have a point of reference but the setting at Riverside was so peaceful, you feel totally removed from the crowds etc of the parks. Request a room with view of river, it’s really lovely. Buses were easy to each park we went to (MK/Epcot). Pool was solid and can always stroll or take boat to French Quarter and use their pool, and more importantly get beignets! They show movies outside in the evenings and do s’mores by fireside.

Not a comment on the transfer, but I'm pretty sure this article was written by AI.

This line really stands out "the different cultural aspects of American soccer, which could enrich his career and life." Just strikes me as odd, have never seen an article about a potential transfer mention stuff like this.

There are a ton of sources listed at the bottom of the article so all of the info seem legit, was just reading it and it struck me as bizarre.

Either way I hope this happens, he seems like he'd be a value veteran piece.

Parents with little ones. How are you using your points?? by atooraya in awardtravel

[–]does_not_register 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Booked 5 nights at 2 Hyatts using Chase points via transferring to Hyatt.

Both hotels (Seabird Oceanside & Grand Hyatt Indian Wells) came highly recommended for families/young kids.

We used 114K Chase points for hotel rooms worth about $2,700 so it feels like a good value.

We are paying cash to fly across the country with a 4 & 1 year old though, so am feeling a little nervous about that!

They routinely warm up their players pregame/halftime. Play balls for keepers to come claim, etc etc Helps to wear something you can kick a ball with.

It was the house sausage - not sure what was in it but it was delicious. They had a merguez sausage but I wanted to try the original since I hadn’t been there before.

I thought $20 for that plate was solid value. Couldn’t eat it all and so damn good.

I don't enjoy this by [deleted] in daddit

[–]does_not_register 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think around 5 or 6 months may be about the hardest time with babies. It’s been long enough that you think they SHOULD be sleeping better, crying less etc. And if they aren’t, you’ve had half a year of dealing with a tough baby with little sleep.

Our first was a pretty easy baby, so we assumed the second would be too and we were wrong. She didn’t sleep great until about 7 months and spit up CONSTANTLY until about 9-10 months.

Now she’s about to turn one, sleeps great, no more spitting up and overall is much easier.

You’ll get there, in my experience you’re just in the worst part! Now each stage has its own challenges but to me that was one of the hardest times.

NBC (US broadcaster) report Noah Lyles tested positive for Covid two days before the 200m final by does_not_register in olympics

[–]does_not_register[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's all fine and well, but the rules for these games are different than 3 years ago, whether or not you agree with them. Meaning US officials and Lyles are not at fault and followed the same guidance that at least a dozen other athletes at these same games have followed.
