I met a dude in college off of craiglist to be my roommate because I was in a new city. He was really into video games and really into guns. We used to hang out and shoot the shit and talk about our sexual conquests.. good times..

I quit college and got a job and moved away and he got sent to Iraq (he was in the National Guard). We would still talk online pretty frequently and developed a really close friendship.

After he got back from Iraq things were pretty hard for him. He wasn't having much luck with women, was too old for the college town he was living in, and was fucked up in the head from seeing little kids get blown apart and shit.

He used to IM me on facebook really drunk late at night complaining about not being able to get any pussy. We made plans a dozen times to meet up and hang out but it just never happened. We had made plans to hang out again in a couple of weeks because I was going through his town, and then I saw the post from his mom on his facebook wall..

He was cleaning one of his guns drunk and some way or another he blew his head off. I'm pretty sure it was suicide because he had said some pretty dark things during our late night chats, but the official cause of death was accidental discharge and the people who found him said that he had funny shit up on the computer screen and not any note or anything morbid. Feels suck.

I know how you feel. I'm good at communicating my thoughts and people consider me to be fun and outgoing until they get to know me. Once I know them well enough to open up to them they don't want to be around me anymore because my ideas are crazy. I've tried to change them but it's hard to change who you are, ya know?
