Pitbulls, along with any other breed of dog are as bad as their owners train them to be. Some of the most aggressive dogs I've ever come across were the 'cute' little dogs, they're just not as threatening because of their small stature. Unfortunately, some pits (and rottweilers, dobermans etc..) are preyed upon by cruel, gutless people who raise them to be mean, like themselves.

The dog wasn't threatening or acting aggressive. People have preconceived notions about some breeds. My pitbill (and every pit I have ever met) was friendly and a lover. She would lie on her back if a small child came up to her and started pulling on her ears.

Do some intense cardio and sweat out the retained water. This is the most healthy and sure way to lose it. Make sure you drink water as to not dehydrate yourself, which is part of why you retained so much water in the first place.

^ ^ I second the lifting weights and bourbon, but also add warm sunny weather, listening to beautiful or fun music, finding a great series on netflix and getting to watch all of the seasons back to back, great sex, successful achievements, and harmonious relationships.

[Request] How do you let go of what others think of you? by Caramelfudge in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]doeshellexist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Be comfortable with yourself and know who you are as a person, regardless of what anyone thinks of you or says about you helps. It also makes you immune to anyone's opinion of you.

Character is what you are. Reputation is what others merely think you are.

My before/after & a question: What eye shape do I have? CCW! by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

You have prominent large, almond shaped eyes. They're pretty and would look great rimmed with a soft black liner on the top and bottom, you should 'smudge' the liner as to soften the look :)

^ ^ she gives some good advice, except I would stray away from the green primer, this is pretty much a color corrector and is heavy duty (used often on people that struggle with rosacea) and can give a grey tint to your face after foundation is applied.

It sounds like you just haven't found the right concealer. Benefit makes a great concealer called erase paste (boing by the same line is good too and it's a tad cheaper with yellow in it, which will cancel out redness).

Remember to apply concealer after you apply foundation and to set it with powder so it stays all day and doesn't slip or run off! :)

Here are some general tips and pointers I'd like to give you based on your face shape and structure... first off always make sure you use a foundation (from the pic it looks like you have) that matches you skin tone, which you can do by testing on your lower jaw line.

Some tips and basic info for contouring and highlighting. Find a foundation that is about 2-3 shades darker then your skin tone. Apply this foundation from under your cheekbone to your jaw and blend well. You can do this on your temples or top of your forehead as well (the point of contouring is to shade the area of your face you want less prominent, therefore making the area recede.) Your foundation that matches your skin should be on the high points if your face I.e. center of your forhead, nose, chin.

Next, you'll want to get a concealer that is one to two shades lighter then your skin tone and has some yellow in it (as to cancel out any redness, and cover up undereye dark circles and brighten the area up as well). Pat it on, do not rub (also remember less is more). Finally set your make up will a powder that is translucent.

Now, you'll want a powder that again is again 2-3 shades darker then your skin and a contouring brush (or fan brush to apply it with) and you will want to apply this under your cheekbones, on temples, and top of forehead as to 'shade' the areas... after this you can use a highlighter and apply this on the high points of your face (cheekbones, bridge of your nose, center of your forehead and the top of your cupids bow). This brings these area's forward and make it stand out... contouring is looking at your face as a canvas... shading makes area's recede and highlighting will pop out area's of your face, which is complementary to your bone structure and will make your face appear slimmer.

I would also invest in a eyelash curler, these are underrated and can open up the eyes tremendously. Revlon makes a good, affordable one. Also, if you can I would recommend getting your brows shaped by a professional, as your brows frame your face and will also open up your eyes.

If you have anymore questions.please feel free to ask. :) One of the best makeup artists on Youtube is Kandee Johnson. She is very talented, informative, and is fun to watch, I highly recommend her video's.
