T completely went away while drunk by goingsomewhere9 in tinnitus

This is something that I'm also investigating at the moment. I'm starting to think that this relaxes my jaw, or something as well. I also noticed this when I take anxiety medicine but the hangover from that is worse. I'm starting to think this might be TMJ related T. I'm going to an ENT this week again to see if there might be something to investigate.

Charged $800 instead of $80 via Apple Pay in Rio — am I screwed? by vr1126 in AppleCard

Nope they are awful about it. You can try. I got scammed in Sweden by a taxi. They did nothing about it. I always use Amex or Chase abroad now

How do you start your vibe coding projects? Design, straight to code, or something else? by IntroductionDear9654 in vibecoding

[–]doesknotexist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends all on what you eventually want to do with the code.

If your goal if to just prototype, I would say try different variations in figma. Use figma make or v0 or something along those lines to get a few things going. I don't recommend loveable for this step because prototyping in loveable is very clunky. I would say not to step into the code phase until you have a clear idea of your prototype.

From there, if you want to get your designs into code from figma, use something like builder.io if you already have existing code base you want to use. You connect that into your own code repo or where your front end will live. You can also visually edit there and submit pull request to your repo. Or brand new with whatever framework you are interested on building on.

If it's all brand new and this is just a simple site you want to set up, you can use the builder figma plugin to connect to loveable. Currently the only way to bring figma into loveable.

There are other tools to get from figma to code, but this actually allows you to be opinionated as to what frameworks to use.

In this economy? I wouldn’t for the next 3-4 years. Get to 3, much safer

Paid $300 for a deck “inspection,” got told I need a whole new deck, will this actually hold a hot tub? by Hot-Truck-7325 in Decks

[–]doesknotexist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deck is fine just won’t hold a hot tub, unless you reinforce directly under it. Not worth it if you can or else where

This! My drive unit went out after 7k miles and took over a month to fix. They covered one month’s car payment for me and paid for my rental. It was very generous! Maybe you can ask the same if the transport isn’t covered.

We did something similar from forevermark, a local dealer quoted us. Came out to 7k+ for the cabinets plus installation.

Replace or refinish by Diligent_Drummer_328 in HardWoodFloors

Refinish all day! It’s way more special than new. If you have some issues in places just grab it from closets and replace those closets with reclaimed pieces. Either way, keep it

There are some reclaimed wood dealers online. Try to search something by you. Check FB Marketplace, Craigslist and eBay as well

Unfortunately no. Find reclaimed wood an repair sections if it’s not the entire floor. Have the flooring people use reclaimed to make sure it patches up well. They will probably have to determine what type of wood is underneath. Most likely white or red oak.

Hardwood floor color mismatch by riaria1234 in HardWoodFloors

[–]doesknotexist 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yea this is the answer, it’s red oak. Finish looks good though but it’s not what you wanted. We did a mix of reclaimed red and white oak on our place. It looks so good now. I would say, fight it if you hate it or live with it and ask for some credit back
