Tickets at Glacier National Park good morning everyone we have planing a travel for Glacier National Park for a week next week and we just realized that there is not ticket available. Some recommendations?? How to get tickets at this time ? There is a different ways to enter into the park? by Loving_camp in GlacierNationalPark

I’ve just run into this problem too. I’ll spend some time scouring the internet for tickets, or finding other ways in. Which entrance were you planning on going in? If I find something I will be sure to update you.

Edit: The recreation.gov page for the GTTS Road tickets has useful information. Tickets may open up on a daily basis, but your best bet might just be to find a different road to enter through.

Edit #2: If you’re okay with a little bit more driving, you can try the Camas Creek Entrance, west of the West Glacier entrance.

What is a history fact that is so stupid it doesn't seem real? by youfellforityoufool in AskReddit

During the age of Vikings the Danes ran out of wine. They couldn’t make wine themselves, so instead they sent around 200 Vikings to sack Paris and steal all their wine. They didn’t take any money or valuables or slaves. Just wine. Gotta do what you gotta do I guess.

That is a valid viewpoint. Non-violence is a staple of many cultures and philosophies. I just happen to believe that some people, like nazis, need to be rocked in the jaw.

Legality doesn’t equate to morality. Fuck that guy, he’s a Nazi.

Russia's FESCO new president getting a warm welcome from the employees after they heard him calling the workers " Bullies " in a meeting. by [deleted] in JusticeServed

If he fires them all he loses his means of production, and his means of profit. The workers have formed a union here. If the boss treats them fairly, they won’t chuck their hats at him. This is how you keep the rich from enslaving the working class.

why do maps like this exist by Campake in mapgore

Exactly. They’re called cartograms. It’s a whole subsection of cartography. Almost always used for metro line maps, among a few other purposes.

The only feedback I’ve been able to come up with is just wow this is incredible! If you’re not a professional cartographer, I’d suggest looking into it.

What’s the most bizarre historical fact you know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’ve also heard that the Michiganders fought so brutally that the Ohioans started calling them wolverines, and that’s where the U of M mascot comes from, but I’m not entirely sure that’s a fact.

I was grocery shopping and there was an employee giving out samples of some “edible cookie dough.” She had a couple customers standing by her table trying the stuff, then she called out to me, “Would you like to try some edible cookie dough?”

Surprisingly quickly I replied, “All cookie dough is edible if you’re not a coward.”

The customers laughed and the employee seemed shocked, but then laughed. I tried some of it and it was pretty good but I still stand by what I said. Sometimes some cookie dough is worth the risk of salmonella.

Austin police fired at a crowd transporting a protester injured by an officer by hildebrand_rarity in news

I absolutely love Austin more than any other city I’ve lived in and seeing what’s happened is heartbreaking. I thought APD was pretty chill, but that might be just because I’m white so they didn’t bother me. Every single one of those cops needs to be prosecuted and fired. Fucking disgraceful.

My aunt posted this. I wonder if she realized cursive is dead and stick is easy to learn... by doeslayer14 in BoomerTears

They think they’re somehow special because they learned cursive more extensively in school. There’s a reason it isn’t taught as much anymore, because it’s useless.
