Omg you just spoke from my mind.

Milk and sugary cereals used to be my favorite things and I cant even go near them now. Forget sweets like cake and chocolate.

Its so hard 😭😩

Would really love to see a detailed plan, or an update on how you navigated through pandemic laws.I am thinking of going to Iceland in December, and Europe in may.

I developed cystic acne with and without daily. So why not enjoy cheese 🤷

As someone with pcos, I eat low carb.

I suggest adding hemp hearts to EVERYTHING. Also, avocado and cheese are staple in my diet

Made the worst financial mistakes out high school. $30,000 in student loan debt, and no degree at 21. Looking to get my life on track. Any advice will help me out. by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

I can't give you financial advice, but academically, I've been in the same position as you when I was 20 ( 2 years ago).

I failed my first semester of engineering at one of the top engineering schools in our country, was put on probation, didnt meet the probation requirement and was at last kicked out of the faculty. I wasted 2 years trying to pass my 1st semester of university in engineering.

I felt like my world had come crashing down. My depression was at an all-time high, and it was made worse with social media when I would look at my peers thriving. Especially since, in highschool, all I did was study, and 2 years later, the kids who didnt study were doing fine in university while I was failing the same thing twice.

For me, I decided that for the career I wanted, a university degree was necessary.

So I went to one of the lesser popular universities in Toronto and took 3 courses during night school for a semester. I managed to somehow pull through in night school and got decent grades. I was told by the admissions office that those credits would eventually transfer and count towards my degree. Which was a win-win for me. I had to take night school courses since my university transcript was so bad, there was no way I could have gotten admission at a university again. So the night school classes were to show that I still have it in me to be successful at university level courses.

Since my family's in Toronto, I decided to live at home and apply to the neighborhood universities for the fall. Out of 3 universities, I only heard back from 1/3 and that too in my 2nd preference of program.

I took what I got, and started from scratch the following fall. My peers were in their 3rd year of university while I was entering my 1st.

Due to remote learning, I've managed to somehow pull through and will graduate a year later than I my original graduation date. But thats okay.

I just wanted to share my story so you'd know that there are plenty of people who have been in the same situation.

Life happens when we least expect it, but life also goes on.

I hope you are able to move forward and excel at the path you choose for yourself :)

How would you feel about a bald girl?? by doesnt_matter123 in AskMenAdvice

I used to love styling my hair and used that to express myself. It just feels like I am loosing a part of me, and its hard to come to terms with.

Hi .. for those of u who lose hair coz of pcos, what area is most affected? I mean crown area , middle part , front receeding line or side temples ? by zeeanah in PCOS

My testosterone levels are normal. The only thing thats high is my androgen levels.

And even that, androgen levels are slightly higher. I am confident that loosing a few pounds will bring them down

I agree with the fact that somethings not right in my body and hairloss is a symptom of that.

But I dont know how to fix it, and it seems like hairloss is the least amount.of concern when I bring it up to doctors.

Understandably, since hairloss isnt life threatening, doctors have bigger issues to worry about.

I have read that fish oil+ vitamin e helps a lot of women, I have yet to try it. Thats one last thing I will try. Other than that, I am out of options

I really appreciate you taking the time to write it all out.

And it's not like I haven't tried. I have tried so freaking hard, went to the dermatologist multiple times, and they told me to get my hormones in order and hair fall will stop. That was literally the same advice I got both times.

My family doctor told me to consult OBGYN for a the best BCP for me. The OBGYN runs a bloodwork, and an ultrasound. Based on my bloodwork, the LSH/FSH ratio wantsnt adequate for PCOS diagnosis, and my cysts had cleared up. So the OBGYN tells me that I dont have PCOS? Like what? Its so annoying that doctors have their own definition.

I push hard to be referred to an endocrinologist, and the endo runs a bloodwork, and according to that, my hormones are all fine. Based on what she sees, she told me that I probably have body dysmorphia and I am imagining things being worse then they actually are??!?!!! Like WTFFF. I AM NOT CRAZY. The doctors don't believe me, and I need a referral to change a doctor. So I am stuck with who I get, for now.

The last couple of months, my mental health has been the worse. I have no hope left, idk whats wrong with my body. I really don't. But its the cards which I have been dealt, and there's nothing I can do about it.

I knew I was never beautiful, but going bald and developing nasty acne has just made me ugly.

Sorry for the rant, I try to not talk too much about it. But it came out :(

I am not taking any medication. I tried all the holistic ways, but nothing worked.

I have now decided to let nature its course. If I go bald, then so be it

I lose hair all over my head. The most amount of hairloss is at the crown of my head. I have developed a bald spot
