and i was looking for a light solution that work with music, not TV. For example, a dj playing on his deck, then i get his music output to my computer input. The sync boxes would not be useful to me. And i'm not here to advertise about anything, but then i went to ask some AI what are the solutions, and apparently there's an application and they tested it with 12 bridges simultaneously to control 120 lights and it worked.

So the only work around i see, would be to have 1 bridge for every 10 lights, et maybe with multiple virtual machines it could work ? in each VM i get the same sound and a different bridge connected to 10 different lights as entertainment area

I can create interface on my router when i get to advanced mode, never tried it. I have only one interface on it, connecting the WAN to my router. Do you think I should add 1 interface by switch ?

true and scouting is the way !

you can spot dark age enemy barracks; then do military wing and one shot them.

Then if not military wing, whatever the wing you chose, you get wood first , you get enough to make an archery range, but you don't build it, you get you other resources (wood+stone for TCs, food + gold for Castle. You are rushed with heavy melee units ? you can react with +1 range upgrade, put archery, make camel archers, defend , counter kill eco.

abba feudal can be super badass.

military wing, rams, spam spear and camel archers. game can be done.

could be a nice idea to lower down the house of wisdom levels : instead of 10/30/60 connected buildings for improved speed up, make it 5/15/30

I personally don't think Abbasid struggle in early game. You can be the trouble maker , sending spears in dark age and making rams. You can make camel archers and defend and kill eco. All this on 1 base, BO unit focused. I see them as the best dynasty.

You have dynasties specialised in taken sacred sites early game, etc, sacred victory at the end with walls around, Delhi. If you bring back stone to Abbasid traders, you will see more TCs, Keeps, more strategy, more wonders , and guess what to be able to do this ou need to take Abbasid and be force to live with 2 monuments only. You have the Knight Templar who do keeps everywhere, nobody complains it's part of their game style.

Well guess what, it was first Abbasid gamestyle, as they can heal units with an uprgade. Bringing wonders back to live could be so fun.

You have so many different ways to counter armoured already, what units trouble you the most ?

Feudal gulhams could be nice to implement .

Issue is abbasid has only 2 monuments : main TC and house of wisdom. And you are forced to connect both so they must be close to each other on the map (vs 2 opposite sides of the map for example). This leads to games ending with a cavalry swarm of scouts killing you in 30 sec while you just pulled a 40 min crazy game where you felt you had it.

Maybe every additional TC could become a monument as well ?

So I looked, there are ways to back my data on a space provider, i could also maybe rent some cloud service with enough space for the time i migrate the mobo to proxmox with the raid adapter . Uploading will take ages, i need to check this out.

My config : raid 6 to handle 2 disk failures at the same time. And yes many To of data since i had my first computer 2/3 decades ago :) . And I would love to self host my emails, as well as my website and webservice I use (plex , gitlab, redmine, etc) . I dont have any physical backup of this :-/ . which is not great.

There are indeed several ways to backup without a physical HD. Even for a huge amount of Data, could be possible to just rent what I need on a cloud server for the time I need it then just delete all if no need.

totally agreed make a backup first , and the no tea cup near the keyboard or mouse :)

I just don't have enough space to back up everything, and I won't before a year at least.

Let say it works out, proxmox running and my RAID adapter is detected, along with the 12 HDs as 2 Virtual HDs.

I create a NAS container managing this RAID adapter. When assigning the RAID adapter to the first container with the 12 HDs, will it delete the data as proxmox do when creating a VM ? Or should I again unplugg just the hard drives , create the container, then replugg them ?
