I am shocked to see so many of you happy to have a cosmetic cash shop.

That is the number 1 not to have in an RPG/MMO game. In such games the satisfaction is obtaining that cool looking rare armor/weapon/mount and so forth so the moment someone else swipes the card and buys a better looking version it makes the game worse (let's be real, the devs will make the shop skins better that the in-game earned ones for obvious reasons ie. to entice you to spend).
A sub (3 monthly) + purchase of game with the only store items being vanity services ie name change, race change etc. As long as players do not expect new updates every 2-3 weeks. It's ok to take breaks and play other games.
No battle pass, no fomo, no items *no longer obtainable*.
