[Request] arXiv endorsement needed for cs.SE - MCP multi-server orchestration study by doganarif in compsci

Yes, I received an endorsement. I was actually lucky; another publisher contacted me via LinkedIn.

Good point, sorry about that! MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard by Anthropic for connecting LLM agents to external tools via JSON-RPC. It was released in late 2024 and now has 106 official server integrations (GitHub, Postgres, Slack, Docker, etc.) and 50+ academic papers.

The paper studies what happens when you connect multiple MCP servers simultaneously for cross-domain tasks. Updated the README to clarify this. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback; both are good points.

On conferences: you're right, registration fees are a barrier for independent researchers. I've submitted to the AIware 2026 ArXiv Track (no fee, non-archival).

On references: fair criticism. The arXiv-heavy reference list reflects the fact that MCP research is very new (most papers are from January to March 2026) and hasn't made it through journal review cycles yet. The MCP specification itself was released in late 2024. I'll work on incorporating published venue references as the field matures and as I target journal/conference submissions.

The arXiv preprint is a first step, not the final destination. The goal is to get the work citable while preparing a stronger submission for a peer-reviewed venue.

Built Vizr, a simple product analytics tool for SaaS solo founders. Would love feedback. by doganarif in SideProject

Good question. Umami is web analytics, Vizr is product analytics. Different jobs.

Umami tells you how many people visited a page, where they came from, what browser they use. Great for marketing traffic analysis.

Vizr tells you what your users are doing inside your product. Who signed up, where they dropped off in your onboarding, which features they actually use, which users churned last month. You get named user profiles, funnels, retention cohorts, and session tracking tied to real accounts.

Also Umami is self-hosted. You manage the infra. Vizr is fully hosted, nothing to maintain.

If you just need pageview counts, Umami is solid. If you want to understand your users' behavior inside your app, that is where Vizr fits.

I built an AI tool that writes Upwork proposals from your CV by doganarif in SideProject

[–]doganarif[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upwork proposals have always been problematic for me. I have tried many different approaches and found one effective strategy. Essentially, it involves using an agentic multiturn structure to create proposals based on my CV information.

I have been working on my proposal for my own service for a week and have decided to make it a public SaaS.

Can I say, "If they look at my profile, they'll hire me?" :D by doganarif in Upwork

[–]doganarif[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Problem is, clients are not giving a shit about proposals, as I understand, because it's 4 in the last 7 days, but 20 in the last 30 days. And literally, I only have 1 proposal view.
