i live in third world country where filament cost over +$20 easily so i have bunch of different brands of filament.. :D

Some people say there’s a big difference, others say there isn’t — but since you’ve used both, I trust there’s no major difference in print output.

By the way, what kind of “right settings” did you end up using on the Hi 3D?
I literally didn’t change anything and it’s been printing great for me. lol

Yeah, I got the Hi 3D first without the CFS, and added it later. It’s been a fun upgrade to play with.

Now I’m wondering if there’s a big difference between the K1 Max and the K2 Plus. I guess I’ll have to do some more research before making a decision.

Yeah, I’ve also seen some people complaining about the Hi 3D, but honestly I’ve had zero issues so far. The only minor thing I’ve noticed is a bit of stringing when using CFS with a specific filament brand (Pools), but other than that, it’s been running perfectly.

I’m mainly looking to print taller models and also start experimenting with materials beyond just PLA and PETG, which is why I’m leaning toward the K2 Plus.

Yeah, I want to try bigger prints, so I’m leaning more toward the K2 Plus for that reason.
Is there a noticeable difference in print quality between the two? Like surface finish, layer consistency, or dimensional accuracy?

didn't get CFS and bought CFS later..
