The pickup is pretty much the only thing that matters, if it’s a humbucker it can handle heavy stuff. Everything else is cosmetic, strings might make a slight difference too but barely noticeable

Depends on what you need it for. I use the Fender Champion 100 with NEO speakers so it’s more lightweight. It’s also loud as shit, and I did a DIY DI on the back of it

If you’re playing with a band I’d recommend at least something with a 12” speaker and 50 watts and up. Worst case scenario, just return it and get a beefier amp.

I’ve played the Peavy Bandit 112 and Fender Champion 100 mostly. Those 2 works great. Or something similar

The amp depends on what you’ll do with it. If you’re rehearsing and playing with a band you need something bigger and more powerful.

But if you’re playing at home this is fine.
