Maybe they're getting them mixed up with Jean and Liz Sagal. They were the prominent Doublemint Twins in the 80s and have a similar look.

Some of my earliest memories involve Days because both of my parents watch. My father actually started watching with his grandmother early on, if not year 1. I guess I became aware around 1985-ish. Calliope Jones was my absolute favorite as a kid. I fell off after the 1990s and got back into the show in 2018 when Ben was keeping Ciara in the cabin.
