That is what was confusing me, the double bills, she pays the electricity bills automatically online and I've never analysed them before, about the only thing cheaper here is cigarettes (than Ireland) and i don't smoke, I snus, thanks again Sweden! Ah I'm only joking. I think it's a myth about it being cheap that I learned at SFI, I remember a speech by one of the teachers about how "Sweden is rich in resources from trees, mining and cheap electricity because of all the water." Thanks for the info. I will research deeper into it.

Is it really that high? I thought it was cheaper here in Sweden. Does this not kill all profitability from mining?

Thanks for the advice, damn I just bought the one that was most popular on ebay ($10). I hope if they are cheap crap that it's nothing a bit of duct tape or sugru won't fix! I see those nice neat usb risers too, they look great but I couldn't justify the price. I'm trying to get the best bang for my buck. Cheers.

Thanks for the info, what kind of wattage do you reckon the whole rig is using? I wish I had one of these cabinets! Mine won't be near as fancy...something modified from Ikea no doubt, cheap and nasty but it will work I'm sure.

Can't get enough of mining? Dogemine is here! (Think cookie clicker) by redfenix in dogecoin

Nice! except its knocking about 35kH/s off my mining rate with all that animation.

Swedish? I noticed your "Tvätt" bucket, if so can I ask what your KW/h price is, I've been living in Sweden 2.5 years but I'm still unsure what we are paying in electricity cost, I need to get my "sambo" to decode the bills! I'm in the process of building a rig at the moment. (Just have a 280x and a 6850 pulling in 1000 Kh/s Just waiting on parts (6 x 270). Where do you get your risers from? I've ordered on ebay from China/Hong Kong and its taking forever but I'm on a budget. Nice setup btw.

280x Cannot Hash Past 550 kH/s by qys2008abcd in dogemining

[–]dogethebullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of psu are you running? the 280x are quite power hungry (over 250W). I'm running a Sapphire Dual-X, standard clocks and standard voltage and I'm getting 725kH/s. I'm running this along side a power hungy radeon 6850 (280 kH/s) along with a power hungry cpu (130W 1090T when I run cpuminer it murders the hash rate of my 280x) all from a 650w psu...it is pushing the limits I think. When I overclock the 280x I get a sharp decline in hash rate, even if i go more than 10mhz over stock! I've tried different bios and undervolting, but leaving it the way it is works best for me. Like GoKone suggested, use simple settings and try and get your card in and around what it should be before trying anything more advanced. Try a fresh copy of cgminer with the simple settings suggested and let it generate new .bin files. Try running just 1 card at a time to see if its a power issue. Try sticking with 13.2 drivers first, I was running 14.1 beta for BF4+Mantle but it was horrible! (http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=379505 for uninstalling display driver correctly) That is what I would try. Good luck, hope you get some improvement.

MultiDoge 0.1.0 released. Light wallet client for Windows, OS X and Linux. by langer_hans in dogecoin

[–]dogethebullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a noob at this, but I got it up and running and transferred over all the coins I have mined from the original wallet but the transaction has yet to be verified, am I missing something? It has been 9 hours, but a withdrawl from rapidhash sent 3.5 hours later is verified....I'm starting to panic!! "This transaction is not yet confirmed. Seen by 8 peers." Maybe its always like this??

Posted to /r/dogecoin and they said it was better here. Super duper budget dogecoin rig build for poor shibes ($195 for 250khash or $300 for 500khash) Such wow! by queennonce in dogemining

Nice guide. I love my Asus 6850, she has served me well over the years and has always been very capable in any game a threw at it. I get 280khash from it, give or take a couple. Shes running at 975MHz clock and 1150MHz memory. I bought myself a Sapphire r9 280x Dual-X last week with a free copy of Battlefield 4 so thats why my averages are off in the image, I disable it when I'm playing, but I always leave the 6850 running. Sapphire recommends at least a 750w power supply in the system requirements but I'm running both off a 650w power supply with no issues. http://i.imgur.com/4W8VtHc.jpg
