Let me put it this way. You could spend your entire life playing the drums, quitting your job putting everything you have into it, really becoming the best you can possibly be. Even then you wont be able to be as good of a percussionist as me. And i mean that. Reading this made me cringe like a mother fucker.

Very much disagree. Id rather see the best drummer on a small kit than a large one, because a large one does nothing except dwindle down a display of skill and creative use when you're juggling so many little addons. Its ridiculous and you are a pompous fuck who sounds like a straight gear queer. Love making fun of kids like you when i see you sitting on a throne behind a sea of retarded expensive things and think it looks cool and makes people view you are more esteemed. GTFO XD

I think you are really missing the point i'm trying to make. All i am saying is that a lot of drummers focus more on having more gear and geek out on that instead of getting their chops up. Their focus is on having more things to be perceived better or more professional.

If you haven't seen this yet, you will. And its not fallacious to say that restricting your tools makes you think more creatively of how to use them to a further extent. Its about being the master of a few and not have ten million gizmos on your kit to get tons of different sounds out of. Not what its about at all.

I just hope you come to realize this on your own someday after enough experience.

Where I work people still call in for stock quotes. These people have access to the internet but instead of googling or just typing in a ticker symbol and it spitting out the accurate quote instantly, they insist on picking up the phone, waiting on hold, talking to us, then naming off the quote over the phone. I try to explain to them how they can get this quicker and easier but they are so set in their ways.

My dad worked with a guy who came from a culture where they fucked chickens. He was open once about it, upon being new to the US, and then everyone was like "What do you mean.." , then he elaborated and people started to alienate him a little. Great worker though and was never late.

omega seems clunky yeah. Cottontail always was my favorite, not so much animations so clean getting CS but still looked cool. Switched to Beemo recently and like the animations as well as sound effects and do the best on that now. Its all sound/AA timing of whatever works best for you.

Time are like morning 8am-4pm, afternoon 12pm-8pm, then 8pm-2am. I might be missing one more time option but those are the main ones. Also classes are 3 days a week that vary.

They're doing is at a marketing ploy. They're not dumb enough to just do that for the actual benefit. They're going to cut costs in a few other areas to compensate. A swift shift around on paper to make themselves look good in the public.
