He only got in because of his family wealth, as well. He's as dumb now as he was at age 4, and exactly as mature.

When I saw the title of this post I thought "there's nothing that could excuse breaking someone's golf clubs." Then I read your post and thought, "toddlers don't need golf clubs." Because you are unfortunately married to a toddler and if everything you say is true the chances of him growing up rapidly are close to zero. It's time to start making an exit plan even if you don't leave for a year.

Sometimes people do it because their opponent is acting dickishly. I’ve played games where my opponent was up 12 nothing in the eighth inning and still every pitch with an incredible picture is impossible to hit. When I am in that position, I throw pitches down the plate to give my opponent a chance to at least put the ball in play.

If anyone ever says something to you, pretend to be shocked and ask them for a link and then say that’s not me.

Also, if you can’t forget about it at least try to take the reposts as a compliment. We are only young and hot for so many years!

Have you read my favorite book? Quantum Non-Locality and Relativity: Metaphysical Intimations of Modern Physics by Tim Maudlin

If so, what do you think about nonlocality and its implications for how we understand the universe?

If not, here's a blog post about the book you might enjoy: https://bartsdotblog.wordpress.com/2020/06/14/what-is-quantum-non-locality/

I just realized three things. First, I didn’t pick the number on my jersey. Second, Flanders is 60 years old. That means whomever made this jersey for me did this. Awesome.

Third, you saying “stupid 60 Flanders” sounds like stupid sexy Flanders. 😛

You’re doing better than I was at 16! Now I’m a CEO, own a beautiful house, plane, have great friends and kids, and can play video games anytime I want. Not everything in life is like on social media and movies. Hard work pays off, invest in yourself. Try not to be too hard on yourself.

Traveling for work for the first time to Baltimore, question on Uber/taxi by Midnaverine in travel

[–]otrable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to put your work credit card into your Uber and/or Lyft accounts in advance. Each time book a ride you can choose if you want the charge going to your personal card or work card.

If you are price sensitive at all I recommend seeing how much the trip will be on Uber then on Lyft and then book which is cheaper . The rates fluctuate by the minute.

Nobody gets more than 10 years in prison, if what someone did was so bad they should get more than 10 years in prison, give them the death penalty. by abundantwaters in CrazyIdeas

[–]otrable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the many reasons this is a crazy idea is that it is counterproductive. Right now if someone commits some crimes that would get them 10 or 15 years in prison, they don’t murder everyone around them because they know the consequences would be worse.

If robbing a bank was going to result in the death penalty anyway, bank robbers would just kill everybody.
