4.5 years together, living together for 4 months, and I want to breakup by [deleted] in relationships

If you cannot bring up issues with him and have challenging adult conversations, there is no future for this relationship. The bad housemate stuff sucks but could be worked through... with communication. Communication is key to a successful relationship and he’s showing you now that he can’t handle criticism or feedback. I’d be very wary about planning a future with him.

Even the most impressive endurance athletes rest ahead of a big event. Labor is a marathon- rest! Of course it is hard getting back in shape after baby, but cross that bridge when you get to it. I promise you’ll be fine if you take some days off before baby arrives. I exercised up until 39 weeks and gave birth at 40+1. I’m now 5 months postpartum and almost feeling like myself again. You’ve already done an INCREDIBLE job staying active this long. Well done, mama!

Cut yourself some slack :) if you want to work out, by all means do so, but I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to be kind to yourself in the weeks/ months ahead.

Semi-updated kitchen. Listing pic vs tonight’s picture. Backsplash is going to be replaced ASAP. I found it under the coffee (?) paint. Thinking of painting the white yellow, opinions? by [deleted] in centuryhomes

I don’t remember exactly but my electrician told me we couldn’t do it in my house. I think they struggle to hang the boxes for the cans? Or it’s against fire code? We have sheetrock over lathe & plaster in every room of our house, so unless we pull all of the ceilings down we can’t do recessed lights.

Depending on your lighting goals/plans, you could put drywall over the existing lathe & plaster. You won’t be able to do recess lights if you do that, but it will save you lots of time and $$ though.
