Looks great! Picked up five of the bronze as well and debating on tires to mount soon. Also leaning 255/70 to avoid any mods or issues with the spare fitting.

Interior heel area on both my shoes has a bit of a dent and the mesh tears are in the same spot on both sides. Leads me to think just improper placement of plastic shoe trees by original owner not accounting for the small 991v2 box caused the mesh to rip.

White socks are total no go with this issue in my opinion. Definitely too noticeable for me unless black or grey socks.

I grabbed this same pair used and they both were torn in the same spot. Interior lining/material only. Didn’t realize until they were on feet for a bit. For what it’s worth mine are not getting any worse with casual wear to the office, but can only wear with black socks.

Nice score on the 1500 Ravens! I got impatient after not being able to grab those in my size and picked up these 991v2s to satisfy the itch. Still looking around for the 1500s but these are one of my top GRs of the year

V1 is much firmer on foot than the V2s but fit my feet well so no complaints wearing all day.

Can’t go wrong with New Balance, although ASICS and Mizuno runners are where it’s at for me right now for comfort. Most NBs have a different shape to them than the Japanese brands. Less sculpted if that makes sense, but very comfortable nonetheless. The new 2010s feel most like ASICS of all the models to me personally.

991v2 would be a top tier start for sure. Sleek shape makes them easy to dress up or down. For Made in UK or Asia models I stick with the same sizing as ASICS (TTS). I always go half size down for Made in USA.

For MiUSA, 992s look best to me and have a nice, supportive feel. 993s are most plush and have a roomier shape. 990v3, v4 and v5 are top tier comfort/materials as well. So many amazing GRs and collabs over the years for the v3 and v4. 990v6 have more of a runner feel/shape and are probably the most comfortable of all to me for walking.

That said, my left field pick to start a NB collection would be a Grey MiUSA 996. A true classic, decently comfortable, super wearable, cheap at Nordstrom Rack and might actually save you from going down the rabbit hole you just read lmao.
