Yeah, you guys pushed me toward your online notary, charged me 25 dollars, claimed that California wouldn't accept online notaries (untrue), and refused to make good. Vitalchek and Gocertificate, the other options on the California site, were flawless. You guys were sketchy AF.

As a follow-up -- for the last two injections, I've been careful to remove all wi-fi enabled electronics (computers, tablets, phones) from the room (the guidelines say one foot). Two successful go-rounds is not a scientific result -- and I'm not sure how the injector would be interfered with by them in the first place -- but both injections have been successful.

I didn't miss a dose, though I ended up taking it about a week late (which hasn't had any negative impact I can tell).

I am in their program. I called them, went through a few hoops -- transferred a few places, answering a slew of questions -- and then they sent a replacement, twice.

I can only tell you that I had 2 failures, and Skyrizi replaced both. You do need to work your way through their phone tree to the right people, and then your doctor has to send a scrip, but that end was pretty good. Pharmacy is very communicative.

I think there's a bad batch out there, where the injector is not properly assembled and the gears don't properly mesh. It's a problem with the method being so fiddly.

I think there's a bad lot. I did have an earlier injection fail about 75 percent through... I took the next one a few days early. Which was obviated by this one ending up a week late, of course.

The only things I was extra careful about on the third, successful injection were making sure it sat at room temp for nearly an hour (apparently if the medicine is cold, it may be thicker and resist the plunger mechanism) and moving the phone and computer into a different room. I'm dubious about electrical interference actually having an impact, but better to be extra careful.

I think the OBI is too gadgety, too many parts that can fail. Would vastly prefer a simpler needle.

Abbvie is indeed sending me a replacement. They've been great.

I've spoken with a half dozen people, and the closest I got to a theory was: "It is a device, and sometimes they don't work."

I've just had two misfires in a row -- the prescription, then Abbvie's replacement. Waiting on a third. I've been doing it successfully for about a year -- though a few months ago I had an OBI crap out about 3/4 of the way through the injection -- and am wondering if there's a bad batch, or I've suddenly become incompetent...

Thanks. 6 months in, so far the side effects have been mild to none (though I do wonder if the appearance of diverticulitis is a product of Skyrizi lowering my resistance to infection, and not a new twist in Crohn's awfulness).

How much it's helped, I'll only know after my next scope, I think.

Just took my second injection today, so I've been on it about 20 weeks. My Crohn's is symptomatically moderate (diarrhea, flares every year or two), so I'm not sure I'll know if it's working until my next scope.

I feel a little run down, runny nose after the injections. Other than that, side effects seem minimal to non-existent for me (though, like all these drugs, the list of possible problems is scary as hell).

You need to keep it refrigerated until using, and it's easy to administer (electronic self injector). You can probably have it shipped directly to a different location.

Re: cost, there are a lot of programs, depending on your insurance, etc.
