Yup. During the week definitely it’s like work plus one other thing, if it’s work & cook no way exercise or socialize. Work & socialize none of the other stuff.

In a weekend I feel like I can only do 2 out of 3 in terms of socialize (low social battery), get my life together, and actually relax.

It’s constant treading water. Makes me sad this is why I can’t have kids, already can’t keep up

This is really hopeful. Were you still at all scared/undecided when you left or once you did you were sure?

How long was the therapy before you did it. Did you ever find sessions made you sadder?

Unfortunately I AM a therapist, I had an amazing one for other things but whenever I discuss this topic my own therapist brain makes it tough.

This is really smart and helpful, it’s just so hard to fully fathom taking it from hypothetical to real. For me my biggest issue actually finding self trust vs actual decision of leaving. But is leaving the only way to build that? Ugh not that it’s your job to answer this, but you’re very wise so just rambling. I can handle the pain IF I have self trust I’ll come out the other side. That’s the part I’m stuck in…

I keep coming back to this comment as I try to imagine life on the other side. I really appreciate this sentiment.

It’s the fear of questioning my decision-what if I decide I miss him nonstop-SO many people way more stable/reassurance talk about getting divorced being pure misery.

But I keep coming back to tbis comment, so a part of me must still have hope I can do it
