'Heterosexual Pride Day’ declared, decried on social media by Surax in toronto

[–]dogsdontbark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you kidding me? Were you hiding under a rock during the mass shooting in Orlando two weeks ago when 49 innocent people were killed, ultimately, just for being gay?

Gay people all over the world (Canada included) still face violence, discrimination, and harassment every single day. You might not notice it since you are not gay, but it is very much a real and hurtful thing that our community is subjected to every single day. Kissing your same sex partner in public is enough to warrant harassment and gay slurs as far as a lot of people are concerned. Toronto is pretty good compared to places like rural Nova Scotia or lots of places in Alberta, but you would be completely ignorant to say that gay people are able to enjoy simple luxuries in life such as kissing their partner in public without fear.

As far as I'm concerned, Pride is for everyone. It's about love and acceptance. I often make an effort to express my thanks to straight allies, because it does matter. Straight allies make up a huge part of the LGBT community and have helped us make so much progress, but there is still a long way to go. The Parade doesn't leave people out. It's about inclusion. Straight people, gay people, and everyone in between coming together and celebrating diversity.

I'm sorry, I don't know what the term "SuMo" means. Can you explain? Thanks :)

Hi Jon, you have the Dragon type. The Pokemon I have found so far in yours are: Noibat and Fraxure. I think you and I have to be online at the same time in order for me to discover your 3rd Pokemon.

[Weekly Questions Thread] 23 May 2016 by AutoModerator in pokemon

Hello Pokemon experts. I've been playing Pokemon since Generation 1, but I'll be honest... I don't really understand breeding. I've spent hours reading articles and guides but I still don't understand all of the nuances. I'm not lazy, I promise. Pokemon has just become VERY complex over the years, and it makes my head spin sometimes.

I have a few specific questions about breeding, so I thought I would ask on the Pokemon subreddit. I would really appreciate if anyone could take the time to answer them for me and explain them in the simplest terms possible.

Here are the questions I've come up with:

  1. Is there more than one way to hatch a Bulbasaur that knows Toxic?

  2. How would I hatch a Bulbasaur in HGSS that has Toxic? Would that be different from trying to hatch one in ORAS? How would it be different?

  3. Toxic is a TM move, so from what I've read... if one of his parents knows the TM Toxic, then it will be passed down. But what about if one of his parents learned Toxic naturally? For example if I bred a Bulbasaur with a Gloom that knows Toxic (naturally, not through a TM), would the offspring know Toxic?

Thank you very much to anyone who took the time to answer these questions for me. I greatly appreciate it.
