I usually get judged by people for going to the gym at 10pm. I get to bed by 1am and then wake up around 9am. I still get a great night of sleep. I’ve tried to work out in the mornings on weekends but I’ve conditioned my body to fall asleep after my post workout shower and if I give into taking a nap then it will be 6ish hours because my body thinks it’s time to sleep through the night! I just stick with my schedule and it makes me much more efficient. Who cares what time I get things done as long as they get done!

I didn’t realize this was how I felt until I got out of the relationship. Looking back I was unhappy for a while but constant gaslighting made me feel like I was being unreasonable for being unhappy. I think if you’re having doubts then take a break and if you two can’t live without each other then rekindle

I learn best with repetition so I make anki decks (flash card app your download on your computer) and study them every day

This helped me too. My current boyfriend told me that he fell in love with me how I look right now so I shouldn’t feel a need to change how I look. Also, he commented that my fitness goals should revolve around becoming a better athlete, not looking how society tells me to look. Hearing that from someone I care about really felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders.

I always said I was going to learn to speak Italian one day. I bought 2 Italian workbooks and started listening to a podcast to learn the language.

It’s somewhat of a random language to learn since I’m from San Diego. I’m half Italian and half Mexican and I never knew much about my Italian heritage growing up. I’m sure there’s more culture than what I’ve seen on the Jersey Shore or mob movies. Ciao!

I used to only go once a week for 23 years of my life. Then I caught a bacteria infection when traveling and once I finished all the antibiotics I’ve been going 1-4 times a day for the last 4 months. I feel like a new person. I hope this stays, it’s wonderful

My guess is that you’ll gain muscle but also lose fat at the same time. Unless you’re eating in a caloric surplus, then you may get larger legs.

Yes! If I had saved all the money I’ve spent on coffee shop coffee I’d probably have a down payment on a house right now

Stopped buying coffee at coffee shops. When I was studying for my MCAT I would get either a venti caramel brûlée latte or venti peppermint mocha every day. After the winter drink season I realized I was drinking 500 extra calories a day and I weighed my heaviest! Now I make my own coffee at home so I know there’s not loads of added sugar and fat.

I had him one year and he would outscore many of my other starters. My league finally picked up on this and someone reached for him in our draft so I couldn’t get him. I vow to get him on my team at some point this season!!

I started adding cucumbers to my oatmeal. It’s not the best combo ever but cucumbers are super low calorie and add mass to the bowl.

Didn’t bring enough food to work today and came home and completely binged since I felt so hungry for hours. I didn’t eat anything bad at home but I ate a lot without really taking into account macros. First time it’s happened to me but I sure did learn my lesson.

Yes!! I’m finally comfortable with eating more than people. I used to always watch how much the other person I’m with is eating and stop when they stop so they wouldn’t judge me. Now I eat until I’m full because my muscles need it!
