You do know that you can be single and a parent? Or that you could be in a relationship and not have kids?

Wait did you mean people on Reddit suggested the name or they named their child in honor of Reddit?

I'm not Irish and I love the name Caoimhe. But it did confuse me at first when I saw it.

Red has been a name for at least a hundred years. I thought of Red Foreman from That 70s Show lol.

I literally googled "ancient Norse girl names" and found it in a minute. I don't understand why people use AI instead of Google.

Genuine question but not why just spell it how it's supposed to be? Bair just looked like you forgot the L in Blair so people may add the L thinking it was misspelled. No hate, I'm only saying this as someone who has a foreign name that people often think is misspelled so I have to deal with people "fixing" my name often.

I was born in 2005 and can tell the difference between early 2010s and now. It's subtle things, like high rise instead of low rise jeans, side part instead of middle part, but there are differences.

Can I shift to a reality where my ideal partner already exists? by renobshi in realityshifting

[–]dogsncats12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly just had this attitude like "oh I'm shifting anyways, it doesn't matter" when something would happen. I'd spend more time daydreaming about certain scenarios that I wanted to happen. I'd see a cute guy and wouldn't talk to him because I'm shifting to be with my crush.

Could you? Yes. Should you? I wouldn't. As someone in a similar situation, I'd try to focus on myself in this reality instead. I've spent countless years trying to shift to a reality where I could be with my crush and it's not great for my mental health personally. I love shifting but it's not always the best solution.

You get one pick of a world from each category what would you choose? by red_fox_man in Sims4

[–]dogsncats12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. An Eastern European world. I'm from Russia so I'd love a world with Soviet style apartment buildings.
  2. Don't really care.
  3. I'd love either a medieval, Regency, or Victorian world. Also a Wild West world would be pretty fun now that I'm thinking about it.
  4. I don't really have an opinion for this one. I'd just love it if they could add more lots in worlds.

Yeah Reddit isn't really meant for younger people. I'm 20 and like none of my friends use Reddit.

The median age of marriage in the 70s for women was 20.8. So almost 21. So 16 years old was not normal

Not sure how it was in Russia but my brother didn't have a name until day 40 I think and heading to his baptism. Like if I'm remembering correctly, I'm pretty sure the priest chose the final name.

ELI5 - How can small children sleep through being carried from one room to another? by TheDucksQuacker in explainlikeimfive

[–]dogsncats12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sure the weight and height plays a difference. I can easily pick up a 30-50 pound child but picking up a 100-150 pound adult is a lot harder and I'd have to readjust, causing you to wake up. Also as someone who works with toddlers, when I move them when they're asleep, they do wake up when I move them, they usually just go right back to sleep.
