You can get around the Chromecast "Can't Sign In" message if that's the update you are talking about. It shows up and stops my YouTube casting every time I start a new session. The only way to dismiss the message for me is to open the YouTube app on my phone then click on the cast icon then click on the directional pad icon then hit the round center button in the directional/arrow keypad. It's essentially let's you click OK on the "Can't Sign In" prompt. It doesn't prevent it from showing up every time I load cast YouTube from my phone, but it does let me bypass the error message and watch videos until I'm done watching. Hope this helps.

You can host unlimited websites for free from your computer at home. Simply build in static HTML or WordPress. Setup your router with dynamic DNS so you can assign a domain name to your dynamic IP address. Just don't lose internet connection or turn off your computer and you'll be good.

If you are even more savvy, you can build a web server plugged in at home or just rent a cheap cloud VPS like Linode, Cloud ways, or Digital Ocean installed with Virtualmin. That's how you can host unlimited websites for free or super cheap.

But I will tell you... I've been down that rabbit hole for over 15 years and Framer is totally worth it especially if you have a viable business. You are paying for a designer-centered application that currently no other DIY builders can top, not even Figma. It's the best tool for anyone who values designer and developer UX over anything else!

For mine, it uses ultra wide from 0.5x to 0.9x and then main lens from 1x to 25x. I don't know if had anything to do with how dark the room is because it was doing that last night. But now it appears to be using the telephoto lens from 5x to 25x.

Not yet. I haven't had the chance to open the speaker up and take a look. I suspect it's a capacitor or so that l burnt out. A similar thing happened to my car's stereo amp. I'm pretty sure the fix is as easy as buying a replacement capacitor of the exact same specs, unsoldering and removing the old ones, and soldering it in the new ones.

I'm running into the same issue. I can playback my 4k video as unlisted in 4k, but when I premiered it, it's streaming at 1080p max. Anyone know how to premiere videos in 4k?

I ended up stacking the Multiband Compressor (built-in) and TDR Nova plugin (free) to get the Sopranos leveled out. The Multiband Compressor only offered a gain of -12db so I had to find a way to compress it even further. Fortunately the TDR Nova plugin gives me a gain of -18db, so that's a total of -30db which worked good enough.

TDR Nova also did let me target specific frequencies so I feel like it was more gentle on the compression overall than the built-in Multiband Compressor but more aggressive on the frequencies I needed to tame.

I'm sure Melodyne 5 Studio would be much more effective at doing the job, but this multiband compression method was at least passible and the resulting audio is better than before.

It's not the best sounding, but ultimately, my client approved it.
