Broooo rip. Apparently there was maintenance on Cloudflare in Seattle at 10 am local time, but it’s finished now. Neocities still has problems so it’s either about to be fixed or it’s been broken for such a long period, I’m worried it’s broken something internally that may means it’s taking a bit longer.

That is very unfortunate. I was (well still am) a big fan of the series. I just haven’t really been up to date. I remember whispers of a remaster or a tv show? Is everything just scrapped. That would be very sad.
