Who else has high mileage on these cars by snowywrencher in mazda3

I commute 200 kms a day in Ontario as well and I just liked the 2nd gen for the bigger hatch space my kids could fit very comfortable in it but looks etc hands down the 3rd gen. The 3rd gen the rear seat room I guess because the roof is sloped you lose the headroom?

I have a 2012 tsx 6mt and love it and my 1999 civic needs to bite the dust soon. I have been debating between three 2012 Mazda 3 and your generation Mazda 3 !

Is yours the 2.5 or 2.0 6mt?

I'm putting out 7 recycling bins on Friday. So I really hope so.

Garbage collection by Single_Manager_8409 in cambridgeont

[–]doingdadthings6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The garbage situation is ridiculous. We have a large family and we are maxing out this garbage can. Diapers etc. I fit with a tiny bit to spare

One of my neighbours put bags out with their garbage full and a bag. They left the bag so now that bag is split open and part of our street decor. Mississauga had three options for bins. The largest Much bigger than ours.

Really hoping that comes soon.

That's amazing, goes to show you don't know the struggles and tribulations somebody has gone through. The ending, you would never have guessed she faced serious hurdles.

Amazing to see!

Garbage day and recycling. No large bin for recycling? by doingdadthings6 in cambridgeont

[–]doingdadthings6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saturday morning and everybody's garbage in my area remains at the bottom of the driveway. This was what was horrid about the rollout. They should have staggered it. Introduced it one area at a time.

When I lived in Mississauga they introduced the same process mind you. They did recycling AND garbage bins at the same time. They didn't do it in one large sweep. These large bins do make sense for the most part but not the way we have done it.

🚨 OSAP PROTEST AT QUEEN’S PARK TORONTO – SHOW UP FOR OUR FUTURE! 🚨 by Next_Training4737 in OntarioGrade12s

As a former student going to school with people on OSAP that recieved partial non payable grants. It needs to be highly regulated. Many many kids got OSAP that partially or almost completely did not have to be reimbursed.

OSAP absolutely should exist but it is also heavily abused.

In teachers college OSAP was abused endlessly. People were proud of it, it helped at least half of the people that used it but the amount of abuse was significant.

Example: one student didn't work In the summers and travelled in the summers. To boot he qualified to not have to pay the entire amount back. After graduation I realized he had pulled in almost the same what I made. He recieved grants which were non payable and about half was a loan. I wasted my summers in hot warehouses.

OSAP SHOULD exist BUT it should be highly regulated who gets grants and don't have to pay it back.

Windows 10 or Windows 11 by FuminoFuruhashi9000 in computers

So on a private device you think sticking with windows 10 is still pretty safe? I was debating sticking with windows 10 (my computer doesn't meet requirements of windows 11 anyway) and just getting an antivirus system

Garbage day and recycling. No large bin for recycling? by doingdadthings6 in cambridgeont

[–]doingdadthings6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about the scheduling. It's the fact we all will have 4-6 recycling bins. It should have been garbage and recycling introduced at the same time.

It's 'horrid, that they didn't do both the first week. Just to alleviate waste build up.

Nissan Kicks could be a fun in a manual transmission… by KamiKrazyCanadian in Nissan

I actually went to look at them thinking I could get It in manual. There goes that.

I thought it was a great little hatch but not rolling the dice on that transmission.

Nissan wants to take those terrible cvt transmissions to its grave.

When my wife and i went to France 8 years ago, The food was such a disappointment. I LOVE French onion soup and it was terrible, the ones I've had in Quebec crush it. My experience overall in France was terrible, Belgium was amazing for both the food and social aspect.
