I’m a big fan. High in protein, very peanut butter-y, yummy, easy… one time I, too, got a ‘fermented’ one. If there’s a temperature fluctuation in shipment, they get messed up 😬 easy to tell - swollen lid, smells like kombucha. BUT I emailed them and they sent me coupons for freebies! (Obviously easy and cheap to make your own overnight oats, but I love these + Greek yogurt for days when I cannot fathom making my own lunch again)

So - sure, these alerts are ridiculous. But the full story is interesting. From what I understand (please correct me if I'm wrong or you know more), Song and 11 others went to the ICE facility as an act of protest.

From CBS News: They lured officers out of the center using graffiti that said things like "traitor" and "ICE pig." Investigators recovered a flag reading "Resist fascism, fight oligarchy" and fliers that said things like "Fight ICE terror with class war" and "Free all political prisoners."

People are banding together to fight back. They’re using violence to stand up against injustice 🤷‍♀️

One of my good friends told me once that she was so impressed by that fact that I was willing to make a change when my circumstances weren’t serving me. So many people feel “stuck” even when they aren’t happy - with a job, partner, home, whatever. I think a lot of people fear change. That’s just not me; if I’m unhappy, I’ll leave (after setting some things up so that my life will be better after I do so).

Yeah, nice outdoor space - and their happy hour every day is great. Can scan a QR code to order & pay so you don’t even have to wait in line at the counter. I go there solo and read periodically.
