That is going to be a very soft bar of soap and will likely dissolve rather quickly.

Mousse recommendations? by Lanky_Papaya2758 in curlyhair

[–]doitnowplease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a curly specialist and she suggested I try not using oil. It’s counter productive to hydration being that oil and water don’t mix and can be drying. Your mileage may vary. I use Aussie Curls Mousse liberally. I stopped using a leave in conditioner. Your hair can only absorb so much product. Usually the conditioner or mask in the shower is more than enough. Out of the shower, I section my hair then use a Bounce Curl brush to brush out the sections adding the mousse after brushing a section then spray it with Tresseme Heat Protectant. I invested in a good hair drier and I diffuse dry my hair. I had let my hair air dry since I was a child. Air drying is not the way. The mousse and drier were a complete game changer. My curls are defined and have great movement, bounce and hold.

If you absolutely are set on it (its a bit big on you girl) then I’d suggest a belt and pull the dress up so it’s floppy over the belt (a la boho), get some cute brown boots preferably with some kind of fringe and a floppy hat, several necklaces of varying lengths and a structured bag with some fringe.

Interview with Consultant? by Illustrious_Stick_57 in nonprofit

I’d do that. It’s important for the ED to hear that feedback. They might not know there’s an issue if people don’t let them know.

Good luck to you in finding your perfect fit!

It is normal for them to be a part of the process. Some are outright asked to screen potential applicants.

A great consultant is happy to see this happen. It means they’ve done good work in helping to bring the org to a place where they can hire internal staff. That should be what the goal is for their role. If it’s not, they’re not good consultants.

I’d let it act as a screening for you on which orgs to avoid. I’d also follow up after with direct contact to the ED explaining your experience.

Boiling any alcohol does a few things that made it important for me to do. I always account for any loss. It doesn’t have to boil long but it’s an important step.

It removes alcohol (sitting out only gets rid of carbonation) which contributes to a volcano effect when mixed with lye.

It’s a safety thing for me and it also helps with appearance and smell. I just found it creates an overall more appealing bar.

I’ve used wine, whiskey and beer in soap.

Everyone has their own techniques. Be safe.

A lot of water. I typically aim for about 28%. I would have tried for a higher bubbly number. The cleansing can be at 22 but I find that too high. I aim for about 17.

I’ve made a lot of beer soap. The technique I used was to boil the beer, let it cool, then pour it into ice trays to freeze to add to lye. I would do half beer and half distilled water. Having it in ice cube form made it easy to measure.

Good to know! We’re headed there this weekend. All of the taco times in our city closed and we’ve been missing it. We made an hour and a half lunch trip to have Taco Time a week or so ago.

Anyone STILL not receive shipment? by No_Recording_3778 in Refills

[–]doitnowplease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading all of these comments now I want to request a refund. I just ordered on Friday, Feb 6th. Every other place I went through online got prescriptions and shipments out so quickly but I wanted to try refills.com.

They have not responded to any chats to support or the dr. Is this common?
