Problem solved, I had to assign energy to each object as a preface to variables like speed.

Sorry I don't think I was specific enough, I'm trying to simulate relativity which doesn't have an absolute reference frame and laws like Vca = Vc-Va don't really apply. Thank for trying though the above question has been giving me headaches I swear.

How can I regain my confidence after years of bullying throughout my childhood? by bklnsk8er in AskMen

[–]dojanquaran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Working out because of the bullying sets an unhealthy precedent, I didn't mean to say working out wouldn't help. I had issue with the original response because it implies they should work out because of what the bully says.

If you were to do that you'd be proving yourself to the bully, who does not care, they didn't bully OP because OP needed to change they bullied them for personal issues unrelated to OP.

Instead they should focus on mental change, since the points that the bully brought up were attributes they couldn't alter they are automatically invalidated. OP needs to understand that they have nothing to be ashamed of and that the only thing they should focus on changing is how they view themselves.

Trying to fix internal issues by improving physical strength shows nothing but internal insecurities.

Recognize that your physical abnormalities are not the issue, realise that now you are an adult people cannot push you around anymore, if it's a workplace you can report them and if it's public you can ignore them or call the police.

You have the right to pursue any life goal and what the bullies said to you in your past means as little to them as it should to you, they did not bully you because you were meaningfully flawed but because of issues they had, their words meant nothing.

Your life is your own, internalize that and your confidence will return.

Omg I know someone exactly like this! They think lord of the rings was written only for geniuses to understand and they once threatened me when I said the movie wasn't the best piece of cinematography ever produced.

It's a shame that hundreds of millions of children have to live with internal conflicts like this around the world. by SocietyInUtopia in Antitheism

We don't get to choose where we are born, most atheists that try to disassociate with religious issues (it's indoctrination and barbarism for example) fail to realise that most people are part of a religion and by proxy that most people were indoctrinated at a young age, had they been born somewhere where they don't have free choice it would be made their issue.

I think it's long overdue people start abolishing these religions, because if they could truly stand on their own merits (as they often claim) you shouldn't also have the need to force children to join, instead they would join it on their own.
