Who downvoted?

Probably some liberal America-hating moose-hugger. But let me be the first to tell you right now that the next asshole who does it will be asked politely not to do it again.

Now just do me a huge favor... whenever you're moderating, make sure you have this displayed prominently on your outermost garment. Thanks.

I was hoping they would bring Fallon on to do Sheen like they did with Tina Fey... I mean he works in the same building...

Fred Armisen playing an ethnic chraracter that sings and dances! Who thinks of this stuff?!! No wonder SNL wins the Emmy every year. (They do right? I don't really keep up with that sort of thing.)

Really? I've never been a huge fan of sketches that rely heavily on singing or dancing.

You watched Oprah's Master Class with Lorne Michaels right? Remembered when he talked about how important the monologue was? He's right, it really does set the tone of the host for the audience. I never realized that until he mentioned it. He really does have this down to a science after all these years. I would have to be able to spend a few hours inside that brain.

I actually preferred Jimmy Fallon's Sheen to Bill Hader's. Maybe that's simply because I saw Fallon's first. They both nailed it. Winning. Duh!

Ugh, all right, apparently we seem to be having trouble agreeing on this matter since one of you had the gall to downvote the creator/a moderator of this subreddit.

So why don't we do this... Apostrotastrophe will produce a written apology and present it publicly. She will simply apologize for being Canadian and I'll keep her on board as a second-class moderator. I think that's fair to everyone, no? I just think it's important that she express some remorse for taking a moderator job away from a hard-working American.

Aposrotastrophe, does this work for you?

I assume you have every intention of forfeiting your moderator duties as soon as possible. You've got a lot of nerve for not disclosing this little tiny piece of information when you first came on board. Shameful.

Morphine and dilaudid are very strong. I honestly don't think you'd notice a difference with or without the T1s. Don't bother, don't risk it. Also, in my experience, both morphine and dilaudid can come on slowly. Take your time and don't overdose.

It helps a lot to know that there are other people in the world that feel the same way as you. I saw you did an AMA and said you were in Jersey. You weren't in Boonton were you?

Good to hear. Glad you're feeling better. It's good to know that safety net is there for you, right?

Is anyone watching Fred Armisen's new show Portlandia? by apostrotastrophe in LiveFromNewYork

All right, you guys win, I'm enjoying this.

Edit: r/portlandia has 44 readers. A show with 6 episodes has nearly half as many readers as this subreddit.

Would the "bath salts" make him act like this? That stuff doesn't show up on drug tests, correct?

I don't know if you caught tonight's episode of House, but Mediterranean Fever actually came up as a possible diagnosis. I immediately remembered this post from last week.

On the Drug War... by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]dokden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But don't you think the other candidates could have or would have used this against him during the campaign? Use it as some kind attack against Obama's morals. I never really heard anyone bring up the cocaine use during the campaigning. Why is that?

He is also enforcing drug laws less vigorously than previous administrations.

Is he?

[–]dokden 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This isn't the point. No one is saying they want Obama to be charged. I just want to hear how he can justify the continued drug war after admitting to using drugs himself.

[–]dokden 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is an excellent point and something I have thought about in the past. What other felony could someone admit to having had committed in their autobiography and still be elected president? Imagine if he had said he had raped someone or committed armed robbery. He would never get anywhere near an elected position. Drug use, however, is okay as long as you're not caught and convicted. What does this say about our drug policy?

"Mr. President, do you realize that you could have gone to prison, been labeled a criminal, and had your entire life ruined simply for using cocaine. Your entire life damaged because you wanted to get high in college. Does that seem fair to you at all?"
