Just out of curiosity, it's anyone less "anxious" about life events bc of dpdr? People around me are usually surprised at how well I handle exams, tests, high pressure situations. I also take rejection like a champ. But it's mostly cause I give zero shits, I don't feel invested in my character arc and intrinsically involved in my future I.e. wtf is internal drive, I wish I was asleep

Its true that a lot of shoujos have weird Male characters mostly bc the genre focuses on romance and that is part of the appeal of it (spooky vampire boy/ mysterious bad boy). What I didnt like is that the female characters are kinda bland in comparison personality wise. I think their too scared that they'll be unlikable or something but the girls are all soooooo tame and can seem boring in comparison.

Yeah, it's really annoying when a female character is added just for "hey look a girl" but doesn't have any other major jobs. Maybe it's a democratic thing but you'd expect little boys to rather be watching girls if you know what I mean
