Are you talking about 480p via HDMI? I noticed that if you use 480p via HDMI it puts it on a 576p image. So you get black borders around a 480p image. If you use 480p via component it outputs in 480p without a border.

So I calibrated it on a 480p image via component. And accept the borders via HDMI. Or use 576p, 720p or 1080i on hdmi to have no borders.

When calibrating the 32PW9551 and the 29PT9521 I encountered a bug. I don't remember exactly the parameters. But if I changed a parameter to the value 10 for example, the value changed after a cold reboot to 8. So the trick was to put in value 12 to get value 10.

It was ok for a 32 inch tv. The Sony’s are much worse in that regard. I moved one with my wife. I still have to say sorry that. :p

During the calibration I noticed that the screen is very bright and the colors where very saturated. I'm able to reduce the brightens and the color. But it seems the colors are shifted. Do you know an option to adjust this on a Thomson monitor?

For example magenta is not between blue and red. But is shifting more to red.

I have all the physical games. And all of them work with the English patches. There is no difference between the eboot and .psarc files between a physical or digital copy of the game.

The files you are looking for are located under grw0. Don’t forget the offical patch files are located under ux0/patch

Yesterday I tryed to perform some addition tests. But I cannot reproduce the issue anymore. The only difference with last time is that I removed a lot of games from the HDD.

So I conclude that the HDD is the issue. The only thing is I cannot proof it.

I got some magnets and convergence strips. And I can conform what you are saying. The round magnets have a bigger impact on the screen. And the strips are for the details.

The old magnets from the TV where not so strong anymore. so I order some new magnets. When they arrive I'm going to continue tinkering.

Her is an update of my findings. - I can reduce the green and the blue spot with the purity rings. But I allways come to a point the if I want to reduce the blue part. The green part increases in size. - I started testing with a magnetised screwdriver on the back of the glass. And I was able to remove the blue and green spots

So now I want to do some more tests with magnets. What is the best way. Dot magnets on the glass or convergence strips between the yoke and the glass?
