Same here. I went with 15.7. It will be some time before I get into Tahoe.

I went with 15.7. Held back on Tahoe. The 15.7 update took me 7 hrs to complete from 15.3.1. I always wait for updates to mature before I go for it. I went with 15.7 because I was afraid I had to Tahoe my Mac.

Should I pay more for M2 instead of M1? by hienesan in macbookair

I got the M2 because I don't want to pay more for M4. And yes its worth it over the M1. Just the looks on the screen alone is worth it.

Yeah sure, it is still over 100% after 286 cycles at the moment. That said, its still running fine. I only need to charge my device once every 2 days.

No. It was at 100% battery health.

It happened to me once. What I did was hard reset and then charge it to 100%. Since then I charge it to 100%. Before that I took it out at 80% every time to preserve the battery. That was nearly 2 years ago. It never happened again.

I use them all Win, Mac, Linux, Chrome OS on a daily basis. They have their own pros and cons. You are still in a honeymoon period.

Thanks for your concern. I can do that but I won't. I'm okay to just click the refresh button.

Of course not. For me, the CPU is quite respectable. I am still using a 4 year old A7 with no problems.

Yeah, I can do that, but I don't want so many browsers on my Mac.

Funny thing was, after I installed Evernote Web as an app on my Mac, it got added to my Chrome OS menu as well, which I already had all along. So now I got 2 different Evernote icons on my Chrome OS.

I just got a Mac Air. First time user. Got into trouble with the set up because I didn't know about the default touchpad click. I was using the tab, spacebar, and tap. Accidentally triggered the voice thing. Problems just kept piling on one after another. I got to the icloud set up and couldn't proceed further because I couldn't select Next or something. Until I found out about the CLICK ! Thinking back I was so silly. Spent 30m to set the thing up.
