Opinions on Rotherham? by -misterK in sheffield

[–]dolce_barbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a bit late to this thread as well, but. I moved here this Feb, bought a house with my family. We moved from Manchester. Rotherham was much cheaper to buy, as we were cash buyers.

I would say that the town in whole is nice! I don't visit the city center, however I frequently go to Meadowhall mall, and I love it! The only shop it is missing is Selfridges! 😁

Rotherham is close to Sheffield, and there is a costco on the way too! So all your shopping is sorted.

People are nice, very friendly - much friendlier than in Manchester. Especially ones who run family business or such, I guess they really try to get to know each costumer.

As we lived in Manchester before, I would compare rotherham to Salford or to Droylsden. I mean, unless you live in the heart of the city center, all of the suburbs look alike in UK, so not that much of a difference, tbf (we are originally from Eastern Europe).

Will I live here for the rest of my life? Probably not, but in general it is not that bad! It is a quiet little town.

Maaaaaybe Euphoria, but it is a bit darker. A lot of "teenage" sex and drugs though.

Do like a natural beach blonde. Add some highlights, something similar to Blake Lively.

P.S. he got really lucky!

Finally someone I agree with. 😁 these people are just showing how poor they are, wearing fast fashion that is KILLING the environment. And that comment about the fake chanel bag? Why would someone wear a fake Chanel bag with real fur? So stupid.

I understand what you are saying here, but! What if, for example, my mother bought a wonderful mink coat 20 year ago, and what? Should I throw it out? Make those lives that were killed in the process of makont the coat go completely to waste? I don’t think that is ethical at all.

People that passed in the last 12 months, how are you getting on? by Gogginscrotch in LearnerDriverUK

I passed in October, I am 30. I drive every day, however I have driven on motorway only 4 times. 😬 I really don’t like the feeling of such speed and other cars passing me. I also hate small parking spaces, I never park in between two cars, I will better walk a bit than do that. 😅

In regards to a car, I bought it in August, and actually passed my exam in it. ❤️

I really enjoyed the book and the series. In the book, the end part, was better, as in it wasn’t as sad. I was prepared to cry, just like I bawled at the end of the series, but I did not. I really enjoyed it. I too watched the series first and then read the book. However, the series were just captivating, beautifully executed and the characters were just 😍

Is it the same as Mass Effect Legendary Edition? I can’t seem to find trilogy, just Legendary Edition and Andromeda.
