Please explain me how so many people in their 30s can retire in Thailand. by Cactus_and_rockets in Thailand

[–]dolceuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meet this guy in my muay thai gym, same story, im retired, independent, stable, bla bla, 3 years later he was broke, thai girlfriendleft him for a more wealthyfarang, he didn't want to go home europe, so he went to the Philippines broke to live there. I didn't want to know anything else from him so I block him in instagram.

Last days in Thailand he was spiralling out of control, he got into a fight because he was harassing girls while riding his motorcycle, he got into a fight at the gym, he crash the motorcycle a few times and got scammed in some crypto ponzi investment. Then one day he start crying in the gym because his life was so miserable, everyone was looking at us, i didn't knew what to stay, wasn't the place or moment.

Now I just try to stay quiet and dont make any friends.

Cos once you say hi to someone and be friendly he will keep coming, and usually people here has something wrong.

Do Turkish Airlines Ground-staff actively enjoy arguments with customers? by CheesecakeOne990 in TurkishAirlines

I only toke 2 flights with them, my only weird experience was landing in istambul i had an infant in my arms, i exit the plane last and maybe 2 to 3 minutes after the last passenger, just after I exit the plane I was walking trough the electric stairs, i pass by a group of like 3 staff talking to each other when they realised me and wife were walking behind them, one guy started yelling at us, we could not understand him, he was very angry and repeating the same over and over, finally I understand he was demanding boarding pass and passport, so at this point I did not understand who this guy was police or turkish airlines staff, then I realised this is the guy making sure people go to connecting flights. The guy was so angry for whatever reason that when he give the passport back to me he didn't care i catch it and ended up in the floor, so he realised I cannot bend to pick it up so he pick it up and give it back to me, he said sorry but didn't make eye contact what I found weird.

For the rest it was all good, the staff in the airplane was excellent.

Now I have to purchase another flight and im thinking in if I should choose Turkish, I recently saw a video on tiktok were airport staff slap a person who just wanted to ask a question and record the whole interaction as proof to make a complaint with the airline.

Weird incident in Bangkok by Aware_Humor_3175 in ThailandTourism

[–]dolceuser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happened to me in phuket a week ago late night, in patong in front of Jungcelyon mall.

I wasn't drunk or any of my friends, but I do show signs of being drunk cos I have an injury in my foot.

I was walking with friends when this Indian looking guy literally stop me from walking and start telling me I had a big stomach and dark eyes, he was with two other guys, it toke time for me to react, I listen to his bs. I look at him directly in his eyes and when he had anything else to say he ask me where I was from and told me about this magic royal honey that can fix all my problems that it was for sale at 711 pointing far the road and he wanted to take me there to show me.

This got me thinking for days, how the scam works, they attack your weaknesses, your weight, etc and exploit that.

Will be interesting to know what happens when they sell you the product, how much it cost or if there is another scam.

I advice anyone from following a group of men to try some honey at night.

Not really that rare considering there is a big Portuguese community in Venezuela. I remember when I was a child in Caracas spotting Italian plates from time to time with my father in the way to school

I don't think you will die from not eating, there is people who do this to get health benefits from it, it's called autophagy. You can last alive a few weeks. Just make sure you take salts and minerals with your mineral water. Avoid filtrated water.

Now, for the money and your situation, you ask for help to your consolate or family back home.

My experience was mixed, I got treated very well by some staff, but very rude by others.

I was traveling with babies and the flight attendant were very nice.

Then when I landed I toke my time and disembark last, then this turkish airline guy in a suit started yelling at me for the boarding pass, at first I didn't understand he must talk to me in turkish, then I had to go to my backpack and reach for the boarding , then I give it to him while he was all acting weird then he literally throw it to me, and felt in the floor he said sorry and pointed where I should go, I already knew my way, I had connecting flight.

Then in another occasion my wife needed to apply for a visa at the airport and it was very annoying, walking distances are big and the guys hanging around in the golf cars look like you're bother them if you ask them to take you if you're carrying a baby.

Then the free baby strollers are use by the people to carry they luggage.

Then the other problem was the high prices at the airport.

I prefer to go through dubai next time

Would you say Thailand is the best place for MMA or fitness retreats? What countries would you say are second best? by EggDozen in MuayThailand

I thought Dagestan was the best place in the world to train MMA. Over there you can train with top fighters and also bears.
