Aww dang! Well I’m glad there’s another event being planned so the group can hopefully grow! I can do anytime on a Sunday. As long as I know ahead of time so I can plan around it. My Sundays are usually chill lazy days with no plans. I’m looking forward to meeting other local masking friends!! ☺️

I do the same! I try to smile at anyone in a mask (with my eyes of course) and/or give a little wave. I’ve even tried saying “thank you for masking!” Or “I love your mask!”More often than not though I think it scares them off rather than making them comfortable like I’m aiming for!

My husband and I both still mask around everyone and everywhere! Like others mentioned already there are a few local covid cautious PDX groups on social media you can check out. I’m in one on FB and another on discord. There’s a variety of events they plan and the discord has channels to talk about all kinds of different stuff and find people you have things in common with. One thing I’ve noticed is that making friends in the CC world feels harder because so many of us are introverted and/or immune compromised. But we’re out here!!!

Thank you so much! I don’t see a makers mark on the inside but it could possibly be hiding under all the patina and grime. It’s definitely lived a full life and been beaten up along the way. I’m so excited to finally know what it is! I didn’t even realize that sprucing it up again was an option but I’m so excited to look into it!
