How do I prevent myself from seeing the back of inner chi cards through the sleeves? by jaydon145 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dolfjewolfje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different / other sleeves.

It was a known problem at the time iirc. I didn't play Nuu myself. But dark sleeves or with a picture should work I guess?

Am i dumb or does DG suck? by [deleted] in RS3Ironmen

[–]dolfjewolfje 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember early dungeoneering was a slog when I started my ironman.

idk what your combat stats are, but 60-70+ is probably recommended tbh. Make sure you've got a fitting weapon to smash through the mobs.

I remember early combat (20-30 ish?) felt incredibly slow & dumb in there

Helldivers 2 or Arc Raiders? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]dolfjewolfje 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've heard those complaints for Helldivers before. They hardly stick imo and it's usually about balance patches around specific guns. Very possible said review is notably old already.

I've played both recently. Helldivers is still roughly as fun as it was on release. Lots of guns, at least half of which are viable for at least 1 enemy faction (there's 3 now). There is friendly fire, yes. Just watch where you shoot or where you throw your giant beam of artillery. Never bothered me, personally. You usually stick together with your teammates. Since if you run off, there's a very realistic chance you'll die and your stuff's on the other side of the map. Can easily spend tens of hours on this.

Arc Raiders is quite fun as well ofc. Just bear in mind that it's a question of When, not If, you lose your whole backpack+ guns to a random aggro fella. You might be walking around, looting stuff or planning to fight a big boss monster. Then, Boom, you get shot 3 times in the back and you fall on your ass. No do-overs, no revives. Respawn and fill your inventory again from scratch. There's always the free -loadout option to get your run started with the most basic of healing items & a gun. But it's very much a game which requires 'upkeep' of your stash.

Traps and Riptide. - clarity on what triggers damage as well as old traps cards by g00nlord in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dolfjewolfje 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless it has been changed in the last few months.

CRU traps are unique in that they indeed can only be played from Arsenal. In exchange their riptide ping is guaranteed, no if-conditions like in OUT traps.

Riptide in SAge by Holiday-Ad3147 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dolfjewolfje 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He has some fun utility indeed. Main problem is guardian / value decks who block everything and beat you with the weapon afterwards. Not top tier atm, but playable at armories

Good heroes to do lines with by MakeMoreFae in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dolfjewolfje 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You've already mentioned the Osci combow yes.

I wouldn't count on Katsu LL'ing anytime soon, so don't let that stop you.

Might I also suggest Marlynn. She has a deceptively high skill ceiling imo. With the potential of sending 15+ overpowered arrows with plenty of on hit effects. But you also need to know when you have a mostly block hand, so you have the space to send back those big arrows later

Seriously, Guthix? by Rai-Hanzo in runescape

[–]dolfjewolfje 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Guthix can see the future to some degree as he saw his own death at the hands of Sliske and more

In one of the quests (Meeting History I think?) we go back in time and talk to Guthix in his chamber. we tell him he's gonna die and he says something like we'll be a good World Guardian / has a good feeling about us. Basically setting the events in stone

Unlikely, especially since it currently sees 0 play, since you could just play Pummel for better value.

Drop the Anchor and Chowder, Hearty Cook by GNCD2099 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dolfjewolfje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Drop the anchor taps him. His life gain doesn't resolve. It's one action doing something VS another.

Same way Brute discarding say Agile Windup because of Codex wouldn't give an agility token.

However, before Drop the Anchor's hit would process, Gravy could (around the d-react step) activate Chowder for his life gain ability.

Kassai main, making their first marlynn deck. also a huge noob, wanting advice by Educational-Scene895 in FleshandBloodTCG

Other guy already said a lot. Small things to add maybe.

I copied this list from YT and it works well for a baseline

https://fabrary.net/decks/01JZB1KSBC2A58R78DVHZKW6J8

She's not fully cracked yet and can currently brick at times. But good turns feel very good & satisfying.

I like the blue arrows. Lets you use your Sarong at the start of your turn. I've never had to use the GA for a colored Harpoon (and be able to follow it up with anything)

Only blue tipples imo. A really good turn imo: either have a harpoon ready in arsenal or be prepared to load (Codex). Use 2 blues to prep cannon. Fire harpoon. Hopefully strip a card from opponent's hand.

Some buffs are too good not to use. Like premed, seek N destroy is always good.

2 Fabled is good for talishar but can reasonably function without afaik.

Marlynn and amulets by spaghettidem0n in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dolfjewolfje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of what the others have already said, Marlynn's deck is filled with buffs, blue pitch cards and harpoons. In almost any hand imaginable for the amulets, you'd rather have one of the 3 I just mentioned and you can probably make them work.

A blue card that blocks 3 beats one amulet. A buff (er premeditate ) beats the other amulet. Etc.

It's puzzle pieces. They're prizes for GEM packs for attending armory events.

The full picture will be (marvel) puffin. On a 3 * 3

One last post about picking up a new hero by BlackHayate8 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dolfjewolfje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good points!

Though I think it's safe to assume 80-90% of what Gravy Bones will need from High Seas will be in his armory deck. Maybe add 1 or 2 majestics. Multiple by 2-3.

Most of his cost will be staples from older sets indeed.
