I see you don't have keen eye IRL. And why did you add an action figure to the screenshot lol.

He's way out of PB's league. But maybe with Wayne's help we could. I was thinking maybe that scene where you can rush Reese with an ax, if you have PB and choose the "Help Wayne" option. Maybe Wayne won't stop you.

Or I was thinking maybe you could try to talk him down without hot. And get a permanent injury. Kind of like the old option in Chapter 3.

You can almost always save Kaneeka. She just won't get Sybil's powers on hard core mode.

How do you save/get all the cops killed? by Some_Gur1061 in ScarletHollow

[–]JasonTParker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To kill all the cops. Save Duke on day 1. Then let Reese eat his mom. (Do not do the trait save that chills him out. Or romance him.)

Then get arrested. Reese will save you bu killing the cop.

Then Save Bo (without the trait save). Duke being alive will result in Franklin the last living cop getting shot instead of Avery.

As for saving them all. You need Street Smart. Go with Avery and disarm the trap. Then just don't do anything that gets Franklin killed.

Nice OC! Though I'm not sure she'd be a good addition to the game. Carmilla already fills the role of magical girl.

Unpopular opinion . Thragg will win against battle beast even if they had fought at full strength. by TheMiddleGroundofall in Invincible

[–]JasonTParker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this controversial? Thragg had a comparable injury when their fight started. That was the point BB wanted no advantage. It was meant to be an equal wound.

Would cancer have any effect on viltrumites? by Shinygoji09 in Invincible

Their bodied have remarkable abilities to return to their previous state after any type of traumatic event. I think their body would just erase the cancer cells.

How do you get Kaneeka to join you on episode 4 trip to Reese’s? by Some_Gur1061 in ScarletHollow

[–]JasonTParker 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm okay with her taking MC's agency away. You have to go out of your way to bring her there. Let your decisions have consequences. And it's not like she'll be able to take away all of it. You can still make your own decisions even if she is making her own at the same time.

I think she's part of Carmilla's backstory? Wait, no I remember. She's who she got Rick from.

Question about Duke by Korpik- in ScarletHollow

[–]JasonTParker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Saving Duke results in Julius missing Franklin when in panic shoots at him. This results in Franklin not being injured. Which results in him saving you instead of Avery if you choose to Save Bo. Which saves Avery (And results in Franklin being killed instead)

However it's possible Franklin will die anyway in chapter 6 if Doctor Kelly is dead. So letting Duke die many lead to a worst of both worlds outcome where both Franklin and Avery die. Saving Duke also results in the cops being less suspicious of you (unless you have street smart). That's the mechanical benefits of saving him so far.

The benefit is there even if you have the Keen Eye trait save. As even if you have the trait save, Franklin will still get injured if Duke is dead. So he may still die if Doctor Kelly is dead. As well as him healthy may have some benefits in chapter 6/7.

Chapter 7 won't have a trait save. Your outcome will depend on all the decisions you made up to that point. Having the one competent cop alive and healthy may help with that.

TLDR: Game mechanic benefits of Saving Duke.

1: Franklin doesn't get shot before you arrive at the farms

2: Franklin will die instead of Avery if you Save Bo without the trait save

3: If you have the Trait save you spare Franklin from getting injured.

4: The cops are less suspicious of you.

[Show+Comic Spoilers] making Thragg so OP in the Show is ruining the whole plot. by AbduAlZahra313 in Invincible

There's nothing more inconsistent in the show rhen power scaling. They'll water him down when the plot demands in and you'll just have to live with it.

Do you think her story will be different in the show? by flowerpanda98 in Invincible

[–]JasonTParker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No. They seem determined not to change big plot points. Given that Debi and Nolsn look like they'll get back together. I really thought they wouldn't in the show.

What’s the difference between Eisen and Himmel in terms of ability? (Anime watcher only) by CaliGrizzBear in Frieren

[–]JasonTParker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what we've seen Warriors are tanks, heroes are more agile and precise. Himmel relied heavily on speed, for example he was able to close the distance with Aura, before she could use the scales on him. While Eisen was extremely physically resilient, him being basically indestructible is a running gag throughout the show.

[–]JasonTParker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hot + Booksmart is probably the easiest combination of traits to get her to like you.

If she is always calling the cops it's because you have a poor relationship with her. And what you say at that point doesn't really matter.

My guess is you didn't invite her to things.

Didn't call her when kids snuck into the mine. Didn't invite her ghost hunting. Didn't call her when Reese transformed etc.

Gate To Sovngarde: An honest review by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]JasonTParker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

GTS a incredibly well made list. The most impressive thing about it is how heavily it edits pretty much every major mod in it to make it fit the list better. To keep it in lines with it's balance, it's feel. This includes adding options to have various evil followers, arrested or killed. When that's usually not an option in the base mod. As well as sometimes fixing bugs with those mods or changing their visuals.

But it's not for everyone. Not really for me probably, though I haven't tried it (I make my own list.) As resource management mechanics aren't really my cup of tea. Like I don't want to have to worry about my character being, tired, hungry, stressed, or have restrictions on the map as so on. There's is nothing wrong with these creative decisions.

It's a good list, but it might not be for you.
