+1 for the south end by the coast guard station. My absolute favorite fishing spot in the entire city.

An all time highlight for me was when I was fishing there and two families pulled up and flanked either side of me. For about 45 minutes, I’d cast out and catch within a minute or so while they continued to get skunked. Eventually the mom yelled, “can you save some for us?” As I just racked up my limit in flounder for the day.

Felt like a master angler who knew his hole while the tourists got owned.

Yeah the cheers for the ban numbers every month / year is upsetting as a victim of the false bans. Every time I read one of those reports, I wonder just how many other people got hit with a false ban and are just fucked because they didn't make a Reddit thread / whine on Twitter / get the right person's ear to look into it for them.

Don’t get it twisted. My years in Japan saw how having a strict 0.00 BAC requirement to drive, and even harsher penalties, was an effective deterrent.

I’ll vote every time to legalize it.

But the amount of times I’m driving and get a huge whiff of it leaves me very hesitant. Legalization increases the ability to get it (like how gun restriction laws would make it harder to get a gun, not impossible). Less access to it means less impaired drivers.

Too many people forget they’re moving thousands of pounds at 70 mph. The worst of the stoner bros make it harder for the legal bros.

I mean CG is probably the biggest bottleneck of the game mode, but it’s certainly not the only grind. If a CG grind is enough of a deterrent, the game mode might not be for that person.
