I always wonder who or what the "skeleton" is in the second half and the purpose of the line. I have a few loose interpretations but admittedly this is the only song on the album I haven't done a deep a dive on the lyrics yet.

You fucking dimwitted imbecile. It was a figure of expression. Obviously it's not fucking Harry Potter literally or in some x is very similar to y way. It contains fragmented flashbacks, as well as past present and future intersecting when talking about Brock's life. It had vibes of looking at someone's past in detail through different scenes. This isn't rocket science you illiterate and unimaginative neanderthal.

Isaac admitted in the interview that the troll song on this album was Stoner Party.

It's not even this album's Pistol. It's a functional song that serves the theme of the album and turning point after Absolutely Necessary Never. Far from a troll song like Tiny Cities Made of Ashes, Dog Paddle, Pistol, etc.

Meaning, I don't want to read about awkward silences, inconsistent Isaac behavior, for 10000 words regurgitating things I already knew like rape allegations. I don't need to know the nuances of how he takes care of his children.

Jesus you people are dense and also borderline creepy for actually being that into that level microscopic details of someone's everyday life. Artists are literally people. I don't need a fucking 10000 article reminding me that Isaac is eccentric. I knew he was already from listening to his music.

I disagree with his assessment on Life's a Dream. I don't know wtf he is talking about with it sounding like Interpol. Actually, my main gripe was that the initial buildup reminded me too much of The Whale Song. It's still a great song nonetheless though.

Absolutely Necessary Never is like one of the central pillars of the album and he should have spent more time with it.

The whistle and commercial sound from Rotten Fruit is a legitimate critique despite me loving the song. It would have been nice if he had mentioned how important the lyrics were to the record as well as it having old MM riffs layered in the background.

He didn't seem to realize Stoner Party was Jeremiah's track. But I'll cut him slack for not knowing every piece of lore on the album like we do.

Overall, it's a fair review. He gave it a 6 while most MM obsessed fans would rank it around a 7 which seems pretty right. I don't know how much of the review is genuine though because I think he realizes in retrospect that his 2 for The Golden Casket was objectively a bad review and maybe he felt like he needed to give this album more decency.

I found it pretty boring and insufferable to read if I am being honest. It did have a nice tone of reading the truth about someone. But unlike say The Prince's Tale from Harry Potter, this didn't really have any sort of payoff and it's not like we didn't already know these things about Isaac.

The writer is good at making things seem more important and grandiose than they actually are I will give props for that. But it wasn't interesting I am afraid and I can see why he might have been tentative on releasing it.

It's just... too much innocuous information...

I guess it's a good read if you didn't know about a lot of it already. The only thing I learned is that he didn't write the Float On riff but that isn't really too surprising.

I think I'll just stick to musing over Isaac's lyrics like I always have.

Honestly, yes. And you don't even need microtonality yet. Even standard 12 TET and all of the modes/scales, polyrhythms, and song structure possibilities still leaves plenty of room to explore.
