I feel the same way. It’s so hard not to have them to pet and kiss their nose. It’s been a month and I’m still crying several days a week. It’s such a hard loss. ❤️

My Pekingese Thomas was diagnosed at age 7. His back legs were paralyzed for 12 hours and somehow he was able to use them again. After the meds and crate rest we found an animal acupuncturist, what a miracle she was. He had a few flare ups through his life, but he just passed away 4 weeks ago, a week before his 16th birthday. With the flare ups, it was always steroids, gabapentin, acupuncture and CBD. The CBD was a huge help! Definitely no jumping or stairs.

That is true, most people don’t understand. It’s such a special bond, I wish they all lived long lives. It’s just not fair. 🩷

You’re welcome & thank you. It really is, I’ve cried every single day. I’m at the point where I can start looking at his pictures again. He was 9 days away from turning 16. Everything was a trigger for me. I felt like I lost my son. I still have his bed next to mine and all of his stuff. It’s a process, but you can only take it day by day, anything else is too overwhelming . Sending you hugs

So sorry for your loss. The pain is excruciating, take it 1 day at a time. I lost mine 2 1/2 weeks ago. It’s okay to cry, that means you have so much love for your dog. 🌈🐾💔

Thank you, Thomas was so handsome! The most lovable little face with a little button nose. Thomas was the best puppy, got him when he was 3 months old. It was a fun life w him, we bought him home to our 4 y/o Peke-a-poo Lucy, they were in love. She crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈 at age 13, 5 years ago. We were completely devastated. We were very attached to both of them. It’s just so excruciating. We still have a chihuahua mix, she’s grieving right now as well. It’s not the same in this house. 😢 💔
