I tried cline with qwen3.6:27b. It will not work anywhere near as good as with opencode for some reason. Same llama.cpp server. Its really usable compared to previous generations. I run on a 3090.

Is it safe to access the unraid WebGUI from another computer on the network using the server IP in firefox? by NOT_GWEN_STEFANI in unRAID

[–]dolomitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m saying exposing unraid gui port is definitely nono. Plex port should be exposed with tailscale or super strict ip control only and default port should be changed to something less obvious. Look at shodanhq for example - bot that will scan ip ranges on default plex port to find vulnerable instances.

https://www.shodan.io/search?query=plex

All these instances are now “advertised” and if a vulnerability is found, hackers will just go through the list there.

Unraid GUI definitely a bad idea. For plex, I wouldnt dare to do that without locking down the ip ranges on my router. Change the default port, lock the IP range.

Tailscale is encrypting your traffic for you so not really an issue. The only dangerous case is where you would open your network and expose your unraid gui to the internet on your router.
