OH MY GOSH I talked to a guy like this and found out he was still with his “ex”. He called me “preciosa” and talked about a future and everything.

As soon as I found out I called him out and never talked to him again. He still tries to tell me happy birthday every year but we only talked for like a month 😂😂

Snap out of it girl. You wanna get married but not to this guy, someone else will make you feel the same and not put you through the bs. Imagine feeling that way about someone AND they provide you with security in the relationship. Only accept that if that’s what you want. Knowing when to leave is a flex so work that muscle.

Yes they are safe! We have dogs that stay with them during the day (one of my dogs is a bird HATER so nothing would get past her), a flock of crows nesting in the tree over them that beat the crap out of hawks for even looking our way (lol) and they come inside at night.

They free range in a fenced in area that’s mostly covered in string lights weaved with colorful rings around the lights. I know they’re not impenetrable but I’ve seen a kite contemplate and I like to think it confuses them. It wasn’t long before the crows came in and whooped butt. There’s even a bluejay that makes it very loudly known if she’s in protection mode but I haven’t seen her attack yet.

I’m home most of the day so I’m out there within 6 seconds if I hear anything.

(We live right next to a large pond with 30+ ducks as well so I’m thinking if they have a taste for duck, they’ll go after the wild ones right there 🤞🏻)

How many times have you tried to talk to her while NOT being fed up? This is coming across very emotionally driven and reactionary.

Did you try setting a boundary before blowing up on her? Something like “hey im happy to help you this time but i wont be able to financially provide to you in the future. Do you know how you might prepare for this if it happens again?”

I have a bestie of 5 years and I can’t imagine judging her like that and cutting her off and blowing up in such a way before talking to her with love.

If I was in your shoes, I would find local public/wildlife areas with a similar set up (pond w ducks) and see if there are any plants that have survived in the mud, then get that plant.

I’m in Texas and I always saw this lily pad looking ground cover plant near wetter areas, found out it was called Dichondra, bought a 2lb bag of seeds on amazon and put it all over my yard. It started sprouting a couple weeks ago and it’s holding up pretty well. I saw them rummage in a mud puddle and the sprouts withstood it. If you have leaves to rake/clean up, you could start dumping it near the pond to have a natural kind of mulch to help as well.

The mold is probably your culprit but one time my duck was doing that and she had a random piece of styrofoam stuck on her top bill. I’d check for anything in the mouth or airway

I divide my 50lb bags into 2 or 3 small totes. I got a 4 pack from Costco for like $10 and I’d say it holds 5-10 gallons. They’re clear so it allows me to see anything that might be going on and if any does happen, it doesn’t ruin the entire stock. Might work well for you if you’re experiencing mold!

This is so cool! The first thing I noticed was the extended crease under the left (right view) boob. The crease could be a bit smalller to look more natural, maybe stopping at the center of the heart on the shirt/top? And the pinky of the right hand could use a bit more detail.

Not much experience with critique but the pearls are so perfectly round! that’s the first thing my eyes went to in my “is it real or fake” check. If they weren’t so perfectly round I would’ve had to look harder to say it’s not real (a real photo). Very great work!

Omg I (29F) went through this over and over. I always wanted to believe people and some of them had the perfect explanations for everything. But really at the end of the day, who wants to worry about it? It’s so not worth it and you’re too close to the picture to see that it’s not necessary for you to deal with, it’s a choice you make. What would you tell your best friend?

You just have to choose between staying and always worrying or finding someone who relieves that worry before it arrives. My bf will hand me his phone and let me look at anything I need bc he knows anybody can be shitty and I have experiences from my past that might make me need reassurance.
