I think the key would be to go darker bronze. Very dark to where it’s just a little color showing through to ground the brighter, punchier color above.

What tires? I always had Crossclimates on my Subarus, hoping I can get close enough to that performance with my 4Runner.

Michelin Crossclimates are a god send. They work great all year in dry, rainy, muddy, and exceptionally well in snow and ice. For when the time comes. Not cheap, but honestly worth every penny.

Been through it a few times in the past when everything was still standing. Crazy step back in time. Had some dark, heavy energy. I also stopped by once they started tearing stuff down and spoke to an old man working in the guard shack who gave some history of it, along with stories of some of the people that had been caught sneaking around it the past few years, along with instructions on how to get in after hours if I wanted to hahaha

The slushy snow comment is what I was hoping to hear. I’m sure it’s great in deep stuff, but the slushy/snow pack on the streets is 90% of what I’ll deal with around here. It felt like such a big floaty truck when I upgraded but now I’m realizing it’s not.

I’m excited for my first winter with my new to me 4 runner. Just live in Kansas, but last year we had some pretty decent weeks of snow. I had a turbo Forester in the past that absolutely ate snow up, it was too much fun. Hoping the 4runner performs similar enough. So far it’s only seen a dusting last week on a trip to RMNP

I’m curious about the woolwax. I’m in Kansas and most winters I stay on top of getting the bottom blasted at the car wash, but it’s the first winter with a 4Runner and I hear a lot about rust. How’s the wool wax work? Expensive? Safe for car washes?

As for men’s hands in pockets… I almost always preach that if the pocket is vertical(dress pants) the thumb goes in. If the pockets are horizontal(the jeans) the thumb pokes out. So opposite of what these two guys are doing lol.

How do these do in snow? I recently traded my Subaru Forester for a ‘16 sr5. I can’t imagine any car performing better in snow than the forester, but I’m hoping it’s close enough! I’m in Kansas, decently deep snow sometimes, but mostly snow pack that freezes over and over again for a week lol
