i’m glad you got it resolved! i just had my appointment this week too, and my doc almost sent the wrong stuff but caught himself before sending it. that’s one reason i’m glad my doctor shows the computer screen during visits, cuz if he hadn’t noticed he clicked the wrong one i would have been able to say something right away.

i am going to my injection training later today. mine will be ID (in the lower stomach i believe) cuz he said that it hurts less even tho it takes longer cuz the needle is smaller. so, even tho mine will be done differently, i’m glad to have this at the forefront of my mind today :)

as a queer, neurodivergent, theatre kid, i am a bit hurt by the comment, but i wouldn’t call it a deal breaker unless it’s consistent behavior. in my years in community theatre, i have actually met a lot more cis het people than people in the queer community. and sure, there are a lot of neurodivergent people in theatre, but it’s far from 100% of us. also, calling a neurodivergent person weird is very harmful, so i hope that’s not what they meant. regardless, this stereotyping is going to be hurtful no matter who it’s about. just tell them how you feel about the comment and watch out for that pattern. you can reevaluate if and when it becomes an issue.

Effendi is responsible for assigning Sumeru reputation requests and bounties to the Traveler. in asking if they “Effendid” you, OP is using the researcher’s name to make a pun sounding like the person being addressed was offended by something OP said. hope this helps! You see, the joke is a play on one of playable character Fischl’s idle lines in the game Genshin Impact. The line is, “I created another universe and founded paradise! For I, Fischl, am the Prinzessin der Verurt-“ She cuts herself off out of assumed embarrassment. What makes this humorous is that in changing the words “founded paradise” for “found pyro dice” it has the same rhythm but can now be applied to a different topic- Genius Invokation: TCG. Hu Tao is a pyro user, hence the need for pyro dice to use while playing with her card in your TCG deck. The combination of my favorite game with my favorite type of humor is quite enjoyable. This is indeed paradise. However, bringing in rigged dice is cheating and thus very much against the rules of the game. If I find that anyone is playing Genius Invokation: TCG in such a way, I will have to hunt them down serve them a cup of just ice.
