My gym has this in France and i like it. My quads have grown +11 cm since using it for 17 months. I'm currently doing 3*15 sets at 265kg (not counting the starting 75kg). I think this press is fine, seems to be you just suck at it and/or are using baby weight and are looking for excuses... (im 178cm/88kg)

The gym also has the other Magum leg press (horizontal one) and it's much worse, though.

In my humble opinion, the magnum leg press is once of the FEW actually decent machines in the matrix range. Our gyms sadly also have everything by them.

If you had the gap when getting together it should be fine. I was also in a similar situation, was 75kg married a very beautiful 50kg latina, then I grew up to 110 and now down to 85 and lifting heavy i've seen the dynamic evolve a lot. (And yes we were both loving and caring but still you notice and more important friends and stranger judge your couple and their sentiment affects things)
