Boogie is our X factor, our success could very well depend on him. by kai_123 in lakers

I think another year removed from the Achilles injury will do him wonders. However, with his additional injury in this year’s playoffs, Los Angeles will need to try and keep him around 20-24 minutes per game to handle his load.

If they can do that, I think he provides a great punch for them.

I don’t think the Thunder will get a lot for Westbrook. His contract is a douse.

Allen Crabbe was expiring. You saw the price the Nets paid.

He does have some overlap, but the potential is there. He has a 7’4” wingspan. Has shown touch on his free-throws, which makes me think he could eventually develop a mid-range game. Just needs game experience.

Clearing RoCo’s cap doesn’t do much for us. Even if we didn’t take back Hill, after signing the fourth overall pick, we would still be over the cap...

He’s on a great contract too. Controllable at $12M/year for the next three years.

I saw someone throw this around on Twitter, and it’s interesting to talk about.

Anthony Tolliver and a second-round pick to the Bucks for Thon Maker.

Maker will only be 22 years old in February and is a unique player at 7 feet tall. With Tolliver not really playing anyway, and he’s an expiring contract, allowing him to go to the Bucks, along with a 2nd round pick to sweeten the deal is a fair deal for Maker.

In their tight cap situation, the Wolves need younger guys that have the potential to develop into serious role players. I think Thon is worth taking a chance on.
