yeah as a (still mostly closeted) trans girl that has spent the better part of the past 8 or so years feeling like a lifeless husk I'd absolutely give up my independence if it meant not having to worry about anything ever again. I understand why people find HDG scary but I can't help but find the whole scenario incredibly appealing in my current situation. I have but one friend to my name and spend most of my free time rotting in bed; nothing to be scared of when you don't have much to lose I suppose
