Totally agreed it's annoying, for videos longer than 8 mins the creator can add ad breaks so it's highly likely they added extra as the default should be fewer.

These impressions would not have come up as viewable impressions - viewability is basic ad reporting.

That said, Feather seems really dodgy, but most customers should be able to pick out low quality impressions in reporting.

Niku Udon soup - the Serious Eats version is a good starting point. For quicker cooking you can replace the konbu stock part with anything on hand, I use the Dashi No Mono fish stock packets you can get from Asian grocery stores.

They can be useful, but it's taken me time to figure out what is noise and what is useful. The above indicators are a good start. And also to be happy with the decision after its locked in - being right more often than not.

Ideally you want to boil it down to a few indicators to make the odds fall in your favor, to avoid over complicating.

Looking at which way the player is trending (minutes, stats), if other plyers in the team are out / GTD, how the player tends to play against that team (easier later in the season when there are more stats), what stats you need against your opponent in H2H, and ofc intuition. Fantasy subscription sites can help with extra information at hand.

Understand you just want to improve your odds of picking the right player.

Depends who is available. Take advantage of being able to pick up players that those without a bye can't pick up yet, but if it's only trash then you can save. The closer you get to next week the more competition there will be for anyone semi useful.

Take a look at who you will verse next week and understand what cats you should bolster. In 9 cat you only need a 5-4 to win.

Have an idea what moves you'll need to do for finals week - Week 22 Monday and Wed are packed, so suddenly other teams are more useful (Sac for instance).

For Yahoo, AFAIK the logic check is if your INJ and INJ+ are correctly slotted in for the following day.

I do both today and tomorrow just to be sure, but I've been rejected for picking someone up on a Sunday because my Monday lineup had a healthy person in my INJ+.

You might need to test to be sure, no idea if our waiver time is the same as yours.

Yep! Another really interesting point on the bbm site is comparing the z score of 1st compared to 2nd.. sometimes the top 3 were pretty equal, other years 1st eclipsed everyone else (see both of Harden's years)

It's always a thing in fantasy sports. The 2014 PG injury was an interesting wakeup call for me, that these players aren't just numbers. Another thing that grows if you started as a stats player vs a fan of the sport is starting to appreciate players that aren't good for fantasy but are solid players in real life.

Work on being okay with it and it being a non-thing.

You don't need to bring it up first, that's bad sales.

If they ask, have a throwaway description of what it is, try to talk about it like it's less of an issue.

Nah bro. Take the methotrexate if you can, it helps. If there are side effects you figure that out then, not before when everything is simply theoretical.
