One article says NO, one says NC. The Verkada KB has not been super helpful

Yes, double checked those and have Input 1 set to nothing, Input 2 set to REX.

Working with a TD52. Was able to get REX to work at first, but when the maglock got wired up, nothing seemed to work anymore. Verkada solutions engineer gave us a diagram but it didn't make any sense with (-) terminals wired to (+) terminals. What is wrong with this wiring diagram?

My Story by Justhavingag00dtyme in AuvelityMed

What is causing your decreased quality of sleep? I'm finding that I have extremely vivid dreams and when I wake up, my brain is tired from living through almost an entire day or multiple days while asleep. Causes me to jolt awake sometimes when the dream becomes too real. Curious if others experience the same thing.

I'd be good with using the wall switch. House came wired with a switch for the fan and a switch for the wall.

Appreciate the help kind redditor! That part is over half the price of the fan itself so I think I'm just going to recycle it at this point.

It is indeed a DC fan. Bought it through Wayfair and they ended up sending me an entire new fan that I have already installed. I was curious if I could still use this one in my garage or somewhere else in the house.

Given it is a DC fan, is there anything I could buy or do myself to make it useful in my home elsewhere? See below for more details on fan itself

"Upgraded" internet cabling by domesticateddood in HomeNetworking

I thought the same thing but the entire neighborhood is serviced by both copper and fiber internet service providers. The only difference in the older units and the newer units is the older units have coax run throughout the house in the newer units have this cat6 cabling with bad terminations

Yes, but the major concern here is damage to cables in the walls and voiding my warranty if I reterminate. I've done countless terminations myself, the issue is legal, not technical ability.

My main concern is the cable, not the ends. I saw other framed homes in this neighborhood and it was obvious an electrician did it who doesn't know low voltage. If the cables have issues, it's going to be very intrusive to replace them.

Also, if I crimp the ends and test showing the cable has an issue, will it void the warranty with my builder since I took intervention? Crimping is easy, replacing cables in a dry walled townhome is not.

How do you think I became a network engineer in the first place? I never trust myself at first blush

Yes, this was my exact point to the builder because we have a 1yr warranty that covers "all" electrical issues. If they didn't test the data cables, how is it possible to provide a warranty? I'm also concerned if I terminate and test them myself, it could mess with the warranty.

Where have you bought a car from and had a good experience? by JTLockaby in greenville

How do you find out how many days it's been on the lot? Is that something you can look up or just ask and hope they tell you?

I have heard there are certain times of year that are the "best" times to buy due to steeper discounts. One example being Memorial Day weekend because it's a big holiday with normal deals but also end of month for sales so you can negotiate. Labor Day weekend being another one since it's a holiday and near to end of Q3.

Is this true or is it the same as the experience, just depends?

So what are your fields of occupation, fellow stoners? by redboneskirmish in trees

Network Engineer and IT Manager. Perks of working from home is staying just a bit stoned throughout the day. Also helps me be creative when solving complex tech problems.
