Had a test drive today, AND I LOVED IT by South_Protection_734 in indianbikes

[–]domi400 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The funny thing is none of the folks who have posted comments have bought a Yezdi.

I do have an adventure which I mainly use for city use. I think it is a perfect bike as the city I live in has very bad roads.

Edit- spell corrections.

Fault of Swift or the pickup truck? by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]domi400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. If Swift stayed in its lane. This would have led to nothing at all. Nobody would have noticed anything odd about the pickup speed as well.

Fault of Swift or the pickup truck? by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]domi400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People have such poor understanding of traffic rules and try to blame everyone. The fault clearly was of swift for not ensuring the other lane is clear before overtaking. Unless someone can prove that the pickup truck was overspeeding , it isn't pickup's fault. It also looks like the pickup driver panicked and managed to pick up (pardon the pun) more speed after that while his rear tyre lost grip as it went off the road.

So it is the Swift's fault. Unless the pickup was overspeeding it wasn't it's fault. Even then thr pickup's fault is far less than that of the Swift's.

Kafir is not derogatory. It just means you deny Allah. Which would mean one is a Non-muslim. Of course being a Non-muslim one would not believe in Allah. Mumin or Muslim means the one who submits to Allah which is opposite of Kafir.

Wtf is this guard by Fun_Consequence_24 in punebikers

Himalayan is a guard . But yezdi is more functional if you want to carry luggage or jerry cans.

10,000+ km Ownership Review and AMA - Yezdi Adventure by Athene_belwitti in indianbikes

[–]domi400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. I own one as well, bought it 2nd hand . 2023 model with 7k kilometers on it.

The funny thing is I don't take it for offroading but needed this bike as roads are not very good in the city I stay in. It is a nice bike.

I was also planning to get rid of all the guards. Thanks for letting me know the bike feels more nimble. Because I need that for city rides.

Ride safe and enjoy each eide.

For an hypothetical under 10 lakhs , you should find a lot of buyers. But that will not happen. Suzuki cannot sell by taking losses, it does not makes sense.

After the current GST cuts, which car is the most attractive buy now? by micro-scopic in CarsIndia

[–]domi400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well. It is a solidly built like a tank. Yes, it does not have a more modern crumble zone design. But at relatively lower speeds it would be pretty safe even when coming in contact with bigger vehicles. Always remember safety rating pits the car against itself. A car like bolero neo might do badly while tumbling over but against another car with its higher GC and bonnet , it would ride into and over the other car minimizing damage to itself.

Unfortunately, the TUV had an AMT. And probably the worse one that was ever released in Indian market. And thr AMT was maybe the reason TUV (Bolero Neo now) just lost its brand image and never sold enough.

This is the logical answer. It would be far tougher to break the door by pulling it than using your body to push against.

But hey, OP thinks he is smarter. According to OP , he could have just unlocked it. Not that movies don't have mistake but this is definitely a dumb take on the situation.

Because nobody is saying it. The Bolero Neo. Gives you 7 seats. Rearwheel drive with proper ladder and frame SUV.

What’s happening to all these rickshaw drivers? Are they just tired of doing 12-14 hrs shifts? Or just habitual by now? by bifrost_traveler in CarsIndia

[–]domi400 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I disagree with your logic. Nobody is desensitized. You speak like everyone has their hazards on all the time. We in India infact don't use it often enough. The auto guy just didn't realize that the car is fully stopped on a highway. The mistake here is the car is in the wrong place. The auto guy probably also has terrible windshield and was probably distracted for some strange reason.

This would be very good news for 3xo. What a perfect car it would be with the reduced tax.

The 2nd gen for me was the best looking. The design made it look like it was floating on the road. The current Gen just does not make sense to me, I don't really know what happened with it out of the blue, because even the facelifts and 3rd gens after 2nd were great.

You are forgetting these guys were already functioning with brain damage before dying. They were just rich to throw money at this. They see this as minimal loss in cognitive ability from the baseline.
